Hey, im here to ask if we have a sILent mod because silent mod is so activity You can join other siLent mod always full...

1jump because we dont have 1x jump objective server.

We Have BG - ND both 2x jump..

Im up for that server.. to make active.. most ETPro player like to play there beacuse 1xjump is nice.


what about you guys ? should we make a poll?

No but seriously it's not a good idea, a new server would not get popular these days unless you have a large member-base to back it up with, which is not the case. Look at beginners, it's not like it's not working because of the mod, it just doesn't have enough members, which leads to not much visitors

I prefer to let ND as much it its current settings and mods. Silentmod is a totally different gameplay! AS example think about the hitboxes

It offers so big differences in gameplay, so changin ND to Silent would involve a hue risk of loss of guests.
I would say, we could try it on a new server, but looking at the realitve low activity of Nam and NG servers with the more popular Nam and Nitmod running on them, I'm afraid that would be only one more empty server..
Btw I appreciate initiatives and I also would give a try to disabling double jump as the opponent movement and taking irrealistic spots annoys me more and more.

I must still add that I do not suggest disabling double jump on ND but testing it on other servers. ND with its settings its preferred by many guests, irrespective of how attracting these settings are...

Just so you know, on HS we have disabled double jump for when we play HS only mod.
So you can't "outjump" you opponent and it is more skill based gameplay.
Changing this on ND would effect way to many people and they wills tart complaining because they are used to other settings.

SILENT is indeed a good mod but like said before it should be run on different server then ND cuz we get a lot of regulars for the server the way our settings are now so better not change something so big. another thing about HS ) ), we are looking to change our mod to N!tmod because Jaymod has bad/weird hitboxes that many don't like for a HS server. We also doubted for SILENT but this isn't that well supported for HS server, and there is more knowledge in the clan about N!tmod then about SILENT.

I would say if we would want a SILENT server, we would need to change one of our side server (not ND) to SILENT but also change the whole setup of the server. Like BG or Nam or Sniper or HS would totally change to like another frag server but 1x jump and SILENT. But don't think this is up to question atm.

I'm definitely against this idea since we can't manage to keep our current servers active even with PsA putting lots of effort into it. As Sky said, a new server could only be popular if it had a huge active member base who would take their time to run the server up on the list by committing to it and promoting it a lot. Guests won't appear on an empty server, just look at BG.
As for some replies, I don't think he wants to convert ND into SilEnT but wants to create a whole new server with the mod which I would be okay with since we've got sniper with absolute zero activity so it wouldn't hurt to try. However putting efforts into converting the server and setting it up again would be a waste since we can already predict the outcome of that.

All in all, we lack the member base and the activity to make a new server and setting up a server just because you and 2 other people enjoy playing there every once in a while is just ridiculous. For that you can just join another server running the mod.
