I would personally miss the small maps in which we can luger. I love doing that my fellow HS members would agree, I think. If I may speak for them. We are, well, 9/10 times playing small/medium maps that aren't obj based. I will ask more HS members to post their opinions or tell me what they think.

Again, I would reeeaaally miss the lugering and small maps fragging. I think our HS server is too 'unique' to merge it with another server and leave the concept/gameplay that we have right now behind. Not saying this because it's my homeserver, ofcourse. A merge would only do good when it comes to activity . I would however not really like it if it were to become an obj server of any kind.

i understand you coffee:P but i do see you alot on nodownload aswell so if we just add those small luger maps we can play them both? or is this different anyhow?

That's true, I could imagine that happen and maybe even work out. But it would not be my ideal merge. As Mim said it would be slightly confusing and alot of work. I am personally not capable of fixing all that stuff so I would not dare to make that call either. I am gonna stay with my opinion. I would however be fine with a merge if the others feel a great need to it. I am really willing to help get our activity back even if that reduces our amount of small maps and luger-duels. Can't have all

But in order for the members of HS and BG to "unite" and play more together, I do not think you need a merged server. What prevents you guys from joining BG on Mon-Tues-Wed and then HS on Th-Fr-Sa? If you merge you do not only have to merge the servers (aka the maps, mods, settings and whatnot) you will also have to merge the administrative system, meaning current bans on one server or the other, the admins and all that. Who is gonna be admin? Just everyone, or will you need some new admins which are more suited to administrate a bigger memberbase. OR are you gonna go with different admins depending on when you play HS on the server and when BG`?

and about the shitload off work guys
we can just keep hani and yourdog as supreme together they go along well and know tons about server stuff, and the most important part i know they would enjoy working on it.
we can also keep the ranks imo cause we dont have a co leader anymore and 2 leaders and 4 recruiters cant hurt any1 imo, its only good to make it more active.
ofc there is some work on the forum to make it 1, but lets say its a day off work, so what? i am willing to help all i can.
if we use the bg server we can just keep the bg bans and the headshot server+bans is gone or the other way around imo.
what prevent us to play together on 1 server on different days,
nothing tbh cause we do that already, but like you sayd before you need a constant activety to make a server active so we cant make 2 servers active the same time with a hand full off poeple.

And yes, i agree with master, subzero , yourdog , coffee, and everyone else that agrees with the idea.
We can't keep up the activity right now, because our member base's are just to small, people keep leaving , quiting, going inactive with the main reason: THE SERVER IS NOT ACTIVE.

So yes, i would love to see HS and BG merge, as i already discussed this with Yourdog Hani and Mimus a while ago, ( Still waiting for answer btw mim )


BG and HS always felt like.. some kind of close because we usualy play with eachother more than the VM ND AND SP servers.
And what does it matter that the ''mods aren't the same'' ofcourse it isnt, but what do you want? Have 2 dead servers, more people leaving? Only have ND in the end? Because, thats what you're looking at RIGHT NOW.

The idea was to increase the amount of players in 1 server base, to maintain and grow activity. Why wouldn't it be worth a shot huh? It's close to bleeding out anyways now imo.

I said above that I do NOT entirely agree, but that I would go with it if the majority needs it. So in other words, I would be disappointed if this was actually happening. That's mainly because there is a problem that needs to be solved and if people believe in it, we should give it a shot. It's just not something I would agree on because, as Djuki said, these servers are VERY different imo. Also, I don't think I'm the one to make this decision and call it off, so I just let you guys deal with my opinion XD. We wil have to see what the rest wanst. I'm just saying, once again, how much I would miss our current HS server.

The point where you said that "more people leave" is kind of weird imo. I didn't see a BIG amount of ppl leave in the last couple of weeks? We aren't active, but we're not empty either. Atleast HS isn't. We have a fun team with people that are devoted to HS. Look at the amount of members joining and not transferring. I'm not planning on doing that either! You stated it as a lost cause but I don't think that's the case just yet...

So, not that I entirely disagree, shock. The problem is there and I'm very happy to work on a solution. That's a fact. Imo this is just not the way to go.

To be BG and HS members, before even trying to merge your servers, simply play on your own servers. Everytime Snacky, Imma and I connect to empty PW after few minutes we have 2-4 more visitors, bcs they saw server is not empty! So why the hell you wont try it first? Grab few people or on your own play with bots for few a while every single day. It will actually help.

The other thing is that PsA would still be cool, but if it comes to BG members, on MOST BG meetings, I saw ONLY Opte and Manius, Shockwave? Master? Yourdog and other members usually never tried to be on the meetings. I could say a lot about how PsA failed bcs members of the server we tried to play simply did-not-cared.

The other thing is that I do not belive in magical, sudden activity of the new server. It might work in the begining, duh, new server. But give it time, it will turn into next empty server and members will either go inactive or go to other servers.

agreed cross, nothing comes just like that.
But Panzerwar has a "better" reputation of being active then Bg and Hs
and that's why people connect fast after some members play.
But indeed Hs and Bg could have the same but it would take more member activity true.
But like for HS, not many people like the mod, we have some HS meeting but most of the time it's us HS members playing.

i didn't know that u know me so well that i never tried to be there.

indeed i don't care what happens to BG just let it all fck up, i don't care about an empty server.

i was just busy with dealing RL stuff that are a "little" bit more important than a game i play. i told some people that i was a going to be less active, but next time i will tell u in person/pm that i will be in/less-active. then u will know that too okay?

Oh do not give me that. I have two jobs (in which I can work whenever I want to), I take 7 medical pills everyday, I go to hospital and doctor once a few days even for few hours, I go to the gym everyday, I go for an hour or so long walk, I cook my own food everyday. I do have time to do my hobby and look, I am playing ET every single day for at least 30 minutes! :o

It's not about you're busy with "real life" it's about managing your time. If you would like to, you would find at least 30 minutes for PsA or any other day.

And I was not talking about you there, I was praising Opte and Manius and the other thing was about BG memberbase as a whole.

i dont have meds to take.
i only have one job that is enough for me.
i start working at 6:00 AM i'm home at 18:00, then i need to eat and rest cause my job is physically i bit harder i think then, cause i don't have the energy to the gym like u. cause my work is gym work out enough. then i need to maintain my house, and sometimes i need to visit my parents house and help them out.
also wanna meet up with some of my friends now a then.

guys easy every person is diffrent and has another schedule.
Ofc real life is more important.
I would stop playing the moment I have work or children or sth.
Cuz that is who I am I would have time but et or games wouldn't be high on my to do list
