Is there so much of a difference concerning gamestyle if its made public, or is it just so that more people "could" connect? I know we have a few people who like playing Etpro, but all the times I have seen people hype about it and setting up teams and training times it was over very soon because either they lost interested or couldnt organize themselves or had fights etc.
Is Etpro something that needs a memberbase? How does a public Etpro server work? Is it needed that we have strict teams and training times or can eptro be played more casually? And most importantly, are all the people who voted for etpro (and ofc also the ones who like it but gave their main vote to sth else) up for playing a SHITTON of Etpro Public for the sake of getting the server active even though there might be little activity for quite some time?
An etpro server has to be active to succeed, it's no fun to play against bots all day.
It could and should be played casually. It doesn't even have to be etPro, Kornie described perfectly how such server could work out http://board.twcclan.org/thread-7371-pos...#pid159337. It is more about not having the crazy mods, double jumping etc. and playing more maps than the current cycle of ND, like supply depot, adlernest,...

Ive seen quite some people take a liking even though activity decreased again about 1 or 2 months after christmas. That might be due to the lack of advertisment, admins and especially due to the fact that infected tends to crash often.
The first question is, do you people want infected mod or H&S? If its infected, we will look into the mod itself and try to fix the crash-problem or at the very least reduce it. Ofc we would not have it in the christmas-version either all the time. Does H&S need a memberbase? Is it doable to put bots in that actually play? If not, how do we make a server active that needs actual players in order to be playable? Are you people who voted for H&S (and again also the ones who like it but did not give their main vote to H&S) up for meeting in the server, even though lowly populated, for a long time until its running by itself kind of?
A 'large' memberbase isn't needed for a HnS server as cheating etc. will be rarely an issue. I guess it will be kinda similar to the Trickjump server.
Bots won't add anything to the game as long as they cannot trickjump. But you don't need many players to play HnS which is a big advantage as to a public EtPro server. HnS can be really fun with 2 players only, it can even be fun alone if you just want to practice trickjumping, but yeah of course, it is the most with a lot of people.
I think that it will be difficult to create a 'hardcore' HnS community in the long term, but it might not needed. People will come and go when there are at least 1 or 2 people in the server as long as it is advertised, plus it is a great mod for events and and community meetings.
