a few weeks ago I talked about moving the forum to a new server. I never got around to actually doing it, because I had some problem with one aspect of the server configuration. I think I managed to sort out everything now, and so will hopefully be able to move the forum tomorrow.
I expect the downtime to be below 10 minutes.
I already noticed a few problems with the new server (because it uses newer versions for most of the parts), but please report any problems you notice here so I can look into it.
Thanks in advance.

I'm quite busy, so unless it's a quick thing or really urgent I am unlikely to be able to answer PMs throughout the week, but I try to reach out to everyone who contacted me during the weekends. If it's urgent, you can also contact any of the supremes, they can do a lot of things or relay directly to me if necessary.
So I moved the actual forum to the new server. It's still using the old server as a reverse proxy (I did that to prevent stale DNS records from confusing people, also it would allow me to roll back everything if required).
Also, there are quite a few smaller issues with the new PHP version that I will try to fix over the next few days. If you notice any problems that break the forum, please report here.
Thanks!

The forum is running on the new server already, so tell me :P (if you find anything missing).

after reading a post in a topic and you go back to the mainpage it doesn't show it as read for me.
I don't know if this is forum bug related.
I does when I go second time and return than again....

If you just hit the "back"-button in your browser, most of the time it won't actually reload the page and hence doesn't update the icons. If you hit F5, or click "View New Posts" again it should show correctly.
