Spam forum changes

Not sure I understand the problem. You will never see any of the spam forum threads in latest threads or any other search unless you are in the Spammers forum group. Saying it's wasting money is a bit of a stretch as well.

Spammer group seems broken imo, and besides that it was getting out of hand the past few weeks. If some people can reach 50 new posts within 2 days just spamming every open thread in the spam forum it is getting out of hand, this way they can still spam But at the same time don't use 30 threads that no moderator ever reads, so personal stuff can't happen either. Also, the minigames the spam forum was normally used for (last letter games, counting games, to be short, having fun games together outside of ET) is still possible, it's just the random spamspamspamspam that is now out of the way. So the problem explained:P

Can confirm, never joined any spamgroups, since the day I registered I have had the spam topics on the latest threads.

Edit. Maybe fix it so the spamposts are not showing up to everyone in the latest threads and return to allowing everyone to spam as much as they want?

If they show up for non-spammer groups then that's a bug that will be fixed

A familliar problem. MAYBE, you should delete some threads and "restart" the spam section with 4-5. And don't make new one just stay in 4-5. It would be a solution, but the choice is yours.

So the bug with spam topics showing up in the latest threads section has been fixed by Ligustah some time ago. Therefore, we will allow the spam section to be more free again. Though we won't let it escalate to 17 pages of spam anymore.
As an advice, spam as much as you want but remember that post count doesn't mean anything and nobody ever looks at it

So no more posting in every topic available? In the past I've had a lot of good conversations going with Slow, Hrubs and Toma. Like 30 different conversations at once. So that has all ended. On to a new era of spam

I am strictly against spamming, I was searching the spam section yesterday and like you said Enigma, most of the threads had its purpose and now it's all ruined by random posts :S Some of the threads were actually very interesting or even helpful.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I agree with this. Went into the section for some general chatting off topic, and it was all just nonsensical spam. Would have enjoyed the topics they started out as, but there's no point anymore.
