Moving forum - Ligustah - 12-07-2015 Hi there, a few weeks ago I talked about moving the forum to a new server. I never got around to actually doing it, because I had some problem with one aspect of the server configuration. I think I managed to sort out everything now, and so will hopefully be able to move the forum tomorrow. I expect the downtime to be below 10 minutes. I already noticed a few problems with the new server (because it uses newer versions for most of the parts), but please report any problems you notice here so I can look into it. Thanks in advance. -- Ligustah RE: Moving forum - Gabbar - 13-07-2015 ligustah go for it RE: Moving forum - Dr_C - 13-07-2015 I'm sure you doing your best...

RE: Moving forum - Hani - 13-07-2015 Will be waiting
RE: Moving forum - Ligustah - 13-07-2015 (Almost) Done! So I moved the actual forum to the new server. It's still using the old server as a reverse proxy (I did that to prevent stale DNS records from confusing people, also it would allow me to roll back everything if required). Also, there are quite a few smaller issues with the new PHP version that I will try to fix over the next few days. If you notice any problems that break the forum, please report here. Thanks! -- Ligustah RE: Moving forum - Hani - 13-07-2015 Is it necessary to backup the threads from the server section? Or it will be simply moved automatically RE: Moving forum - Ligustah - 13-07-2015 (13-07-2015, 05:02 PM)AgentHani Wrote: Is it necessary to backup the threads from the server section? I don't know if this is forum bug related. I does when I go second time and return than again.... If you just hit the "back"-button in your browser, most of the time it won't actually reload the page and hence doesn't update the icons. If you hit F5, or click "View New Posts" again it should show correctly. |
