W:ET lags, delays and graphics problems

i've tried so much and i just can't solve it... i hope someone of you can help me!

since the update to nitmod 2.3.2 i have lags, delays and now also quality problems. but that you understand it, i tell you from the beginning.

when the nitmod was changed to 2.3.2 on beginners i had massive lags, sometimes impossible to play. i had changed some cvars in my .cfg and had even called my internet provider who had taken care of my problem for more than an hour! so on the part of the internet provider there were zero problems. then i checked my hardware but it didn't have any problems either. when i have ET, my browser, youtube, obs and some other programs open, i only use 25% of my RAM, 15% of my cpu. so it can't be the hardware either. i then had to set up my pc completely again due to a bug with linux. changed my internet provider around the same time. now i have a better ping but the lags are still there, delays and graphics problems have been added. my bullets arrive more than 1 second later! my graphics quality is now below 800x600...

when i play cs:go with the highest settings, my hardware behaves roughly the same. and i only have this problem on the beginners server, otherwise on no other server with the new nitmod. i have already tried to use a better graphics card but then i have the same problem... cpu has new thermal paste, just like the graphics card...

does anyone still have an idea why this could be?

Oh and /cl_maxpackets 100 and /rate 25000

If it’s lagging ping wise , try another internet ? Ie : with your phone, use 4G and your phone as a router.

Reboot your internet if you haven’t done that already ?

Try another server ? Another nitmod server ?

Try jaymod server ? Same behavior here ?

Try step by step and test everytime and Let me know

i have maxpackets at 100, rate at 25000, fps 125, fov 110, all details are off or atleast at medium setting.

i already tried a other internet, i changed my provider. if i play i disconnect wlan from my smartphone too since i have that prob.

on another nitmod server i haven't probs, the same as on jaymod, etjump, or other mods. vietnam is great too! only on bg...

I used to have weird mouse latency / lag in Nitmod, in TWC BG, but I guess an update to Nitmod or something else fixed it since it just disappeared few months ago.

weird that it's only on one server.

Keep your nkey.

rename current nitmod folder to nitmod_old

create new nitmod folder and put your nkey there.

Download nitmod_2.3.2_20210131.pk3 from google and put inside nitmod
Launch game as admin
Try /cl_allowdownload 0 and /cl_wwwdownload 0
It will turn off automatic download
See if game is better with no skin pack, no sound pack and so on.

Try /cl_allowdownload 1 and /cl_wwwdownload 1 and download skinpack sound pack again
If it lags again, it might be linked to those stuff.

I personally never download any of those skin and soundpack as i usually hate those and prefer download the stuff I need and maps manually.

It nothing help -> keep your nkey / etkey and reinstall fully the game.

i did what you suggested and now i have neither lags nor graphics problems (tested atleast ~20minutes with 3 other players) but i have still delays. bullets reach the enemies only after some seconds (or are sent to me). i have an average of 30 mbit upload and the download is not bad either (private).

Can you somehow record your screen while playing ? and show me the video
