Great work Echo, just a little thing. It would be good to make the server from newer version than 1.8, since a lot have been changed since 1.8. Could u look into it, if u could update it. It would be awesome.

Looking pretty good so far!

I recommend people actually install 1.8 specifically with the launcher, to avoid some problems with connected textures etc. that I encountered with 1.13.2 + OptiFine + Soartex Fanver, like:

Some of these are caused by connected textures, texture packs and some are version related. The easiest way to fix these is to just install 1.8 via the launcher without OptiFine etc. This is pretty much just guessing since I didn't actually try this yet, it might work fine if you install 1.8 and correct optifine to go with it.
