i tried NQ yesterday and tbh to me it feels like making a NQ sewrver would be like making another vietnam server.

i would rather want a HnS server or an infected server (not christmas but just infected) or a mixed mods server with both

Sad to see sniper go indeed. It has been a very good run but I think this is the right decision to make.

On whether or not there should be a replacement, my opinion is divided.
Should there be another server with a memberbase that is competing with the already struggling servers in an old game? I think it is obvious the answer is no.
Is there an actual need for a fun server which will only be used on a sporadic basis? The answer is debatable and can very well be a yes, but then do choose something which is not found anywhere else otherwise you can simply go there if it is only for once or twice.
I'm not a fan of switching mods, people like to settle and don't like changes. If you switch things around every day, you will not build up a playerbase.

I think these are all points to consider in this debate.

TWC Black was in my opinion the best server TWC ever had, etproish jaymod server with some special maps and basic settings.
The server worked out, I enjoyed every second on it. Why?

Think about typical problems for example in ND or BG: heavy spawnkill, only english in main, walljump.
TWC Black worked out, because all that was allowed;

- Heavy spawnkill was allowed since recharge time of panzer, arty and support fire was longer, and I suggest spawntimes of 5 (attacking team) and 10 (defending team).
- Every language was allowed, you really don't give a sh*t about what others speaks in foreign language
- Put singlejump on server and allow walljump, just increase the recharge time of stamina.

All of you who says "But hey that's exactly what Beginners is" , f*ck off.
Anyone who ever played any other mods than jaymod or N!tmod has to agree with me, the hitboxes of Beginners are superweird and f*cked up. Also settings and rules are different.

I might be old-fashioned, but I miss TWC Black and would definitely play everyday on it if you re-make it .

From what I remember Black aka. Blue did exist before Panzerwar, but it did not get switched to panzerwar if thats what you mean. Before our panzerwar opened there was falckonET (later etpro public). Black however did rename to Blue due to PW (panzerwar tags were black and Black tags were blue :P)
