SNIPER SERVER UPDATES

This thread is dedicated to all the updates the sniper server will encounter in the future. Updates include mapchanges/additions/removals, changing settings in the server.cfg etc., adding mod and soundpacks and so on.

Would be a nice moment to create a new/updated map cycle for sniper, here are a couple of my suggestions

UJE Ocean Sniper
UJE Oldskool Sniper
UJE Farm Sniper
UJE City Sniper

UJE Kitchen Sniper
TWC Sniper
Sniper Shadow Remix

That's what I can come up with atm. I can't remember all the maps anymore, but it's something to start with so we can get a nice cycle put together with all the suggestions to come. The bottom three should be included without discussion (in my opinion ) and the other four are discussable :P

Not sure if cycle has been updated already, but I've got another suggestion. Since the bots are quite a lot in server (unfortunately) I'd suggest to change the names. (to something fun.) At the moment there are 8 bots with only 3 different names and I think we should be able to come up with something better :P.

Been fairly busy lately, so haven't had the time to play, but are there any suggestions implented yet? Or do we wait for more people to join this discussion about (potential) server updates?

For bot name suggestion I suggest 2of8 bots' names with TWC tags - visitors see an example and might want it as well - result joiners. Not sure if it works nor tried out before.

Removed cg_bobs forcing are gone, it's all 0 now and cl_maxpackets are now forced to 100 instead of 30.
