Hello,

Since I've became 'admin' in the No Download server, I was wondering a few things.
Perhaps I just didn't find it on the forum yet but I thought why not ask.
How do you guys deal with unfair teams?
I mean by example: Allies have 10 players but the Axis has 6.
Do you just randomly spectate people in the Allies team after you've asked it to change?
I had this problem before, but I can't make up my mind about it.
Me personally prefer Allies so I wouldn't like anyone to put me in Axis for that matter, but if it makes the teams more fair than I would do it.
And how about unfair teams while the number is even? (Allies have 10 players, Axis have 10 players, but Allies keep winning because Axis has a lot of 'Newbies'.)

P.s: I can only !spec people, and not put them in a team.

When I had server never used the command put in such cases. Put it is not fair because why should I choose who must move it. Always I gave several warnings and then !shuffle. Put is good when someone is afk, not to put random player.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Randomly !spec people make them mad, and I get why lol. That's why I was having this dilemma. I can't do !shuffle unfortunaly. I forgot that command was even in the game lol.

this is how i deal with it : if nobody reacts to uneven teams and twc members are in the stronger team, then i just put them in the weaker team to make it balanced
they are twc members so they should care about teams before their own personal preference
if there are no members i put a random guest (usually someone i know or with higher xp, while explaining why i did it)
i do this because a balanced game is way more fun for everyone , and people should understand that it's not always fun to roll on the enemy

about teams being unfair while having an even amount of players well ... you can always ask some "better" players to swap, or vote for shuffle, but there's nothing much to be done about it actually , sorry

pretty much what sky said, ask people to balance the teams, if no one does then give a few warnings, then you either just random putteam while explaining why you did or shuffle.
however in some extreme cases like 14 vs 17 for example, there is no point in balancing the teams as the number of player is already huge and one extra player this way or the other will barely be felt.

balancing teams isnt always neccessery, just do what you think is best depending on the current situation.

I prepared another rule concerning team balance, which, in my opinion should be implemented.

First, I think that when we talk about unbalanced teams I mean +3 players (e.g. 8 Axis vs. 11 Allies.)
When Ocean used to be supreme he told me that +2 is ok, +3 you need to change your team.

Sometimes there are too few clan members to even the teams. I asked guest players to change teams lots of times, unfortunately without any effect. Using !put command in such situations may be misunderstood by the person transferred, that’s why I usually waited till the end of the map and later shuffled teams.

That’s why I suggest than in the situation when teams are uneven and we say "teams", after 30 sec (if nobody changes teams) we move a player (guest) with the most xp points at that moment.(of course, before we put visitors twc members must swap first.)

im axis side and someone says teams are uneven example axis 10 allies 7 or 8 i automaticly join the allies side. i dont really care if i win or loose.
