Hello!

I've got this PM from mimus. She encourages talking about what we really want here and strongly pointed out that it's really up to us to be active in discussion. Quote from the PM:

1. What do you want to change in TJ? (that means maps, configurations and all those things)

2. What do you want to change in the administration? (that means, do you want 1 new supreme or 2 and do you want to demote 1 of the current supreme or 2, who shall be leader, coleader, recruiter, admin etc. in TJ?)

3. What do you want to do with the inactive members? (those who are red in the memberlist - kickout, stay, write them a pm...?)

4.What do you want to with the TJ forum sections? (who edits the roster, who takes care of possible applications, etc.)

5. What do you want to do to get new members? (do you want to be more active, to you want to host an event, do you want to decide about times people shall play (e.g. 15-16 oclock person A, 16-17 oclock person B is on tj etc.), do you want to encourage that more people visit the PSA meetings, etc.)

6. Exchange steam accounts, or be on ts or exchange facebook. You need something to keep in touch with one another, and also with us msts. Constantly writing PMs or discussing in public forum sections wont be enough and wont help. You need some kind of instant-messaging-option. Maybe even whatsapp or sth?"

Let me start. I do not want to change the supremes, I just would like to see them being even somewhat active. The only problem with the TJ imho is the bugginess of the server. As far I know it's up to old version of ETJump and ET 3.00. Would it hurt to try with different versions? That shouldn't take much time to try. Or how would I know?

Let me include my opinion
1. I also used to play on our TJ server but I experienced some problems in the gameplay so during my TJ phase I switched to some other servers.
2. I don't think that changing the supremes would help as long as the high admins are active. Of course it is sad that they don't have time to spend ingame. We need to focus on point 1 but I have to say that I have not enough knowledge to work on the client.
3. There is you blacknex, and sometimes bibkop who you can call 'active'. You can try to send the inactive members a pm but you won't get an answer because most likely they won't come back. But to be sure we should check if they have been around ingame at least for once in the last month.
4. The forum section needs a whole new structure. But since nothing new happened during the last months there was no need to change anything.
5. I think the best way to attract more people is to visit their servers (after the bug fixes) and tell them that our server was updated. Of course we can organize some events but I have no idea how they could look like.
6. I would really like to help if it is needed e.g test the new changes and tell what can be improved, as many others surely! After all we're in the same clan and should help each other

From my side the most important thing is Et client version. I had MANY complains from rly good players like Ronsu , valz , fate and many other from clans like HeX and they all said same thing befor they left " fix et client ". i understand that you guys might didnt heard about them but you need to know few of them made maps that are currently on our server so they know whats going on. That's the reason we dont have that much pro players like we had before on our server.

Other thing is that many new players cant connect to our server cuz they cant find it on the list while its empty. i dont know why it works like that but it have to be fixd.

For those are main problems we need to put priority on.

All we need is a supreme who gonna update the server and that's it. I see no otherr problem in tj atm. We dont need to change supreme , we need one to deal with it finnaly.

AFAIK, even the supreme cannot change the server executable, I'm pretty sure only MSTs are able to switch et300 to something else.

About those inactive memebrs i would kick all of them out and rebuild whole TJ community cuz i see no point of keeping member who've been playing for 2-3 weeks , went inactive and still they are in our member group and that what im gonna do soon for sure.

You are wondering why black also made a thread about it? Because you people dont talk. You should. Exchange some instant-messaging-stuff so things like these dont happen. NOW xD

Once u did this we can also talk about the tj and the server mod, and what we can do about it.

So, I saw ivan 2 days ago. The thing is that he does not visit forums. For others they are pretty much inactive. I would probably kick anyone expect makez (he said that he goes to army and that he will return when he comes back) and bibkop (since he visited a few days ago and he may become active again). For high admins, I would probably demote those who aren't active and later kick them if they still would not return. But we should give inactive members that will get kicked a chance to rejoin again (with caution that they won't go away for long time without reason again). And for supermes, we should add 1 or something. Not sure yet...

TL;DR? Get rid of inactive players that probably won't return

Even though we usually have the "you have to visit forum at least once a week, better every 3rd day, perfect every day" just for admins and higher as a rule, it might be good to underline the importance of forum visits towards new members.
Once they visit the forum more often you get more active talkers for discussions and improvements, and most importantly the people feel more "in" the community and will probably want to visit the forum and ofc ingame more than before by themselves.

I totally agree with both of you, Mimus and Legendz! In my opinion the forum isn't less interesting than the game itself (the member's homeserver). As soon as you start to discuss with your colleagues what can be done to improve the gameplay you automatically have fun helping others out

Chris, imo everybody who could help is welcome! You are an experienced TJer so your opinion is also needed!
