If getting an new support would resolve all this unnecessary conflict in the clan and definitely unneeded drama...
Then PLEASE select one!! The thing I hate seeing other then listed above is the detached isolated feeling that I feel with-in the clan with certain members at the moment! A clan is supposed to be connected and not segregated & divided into sections where certain members feel more conformable around other than they should be! I understand you can have close friends && "Vibe" with some people more than others! But as a whole were suppose to be UNITED! I want nothing but the best for this clan! I believe my actions have showed that! I have yet to find "ONE" reason listed above on why a new supporter is needed Tickets are fine, spam, spam bots, posting topics, the rosters could use an update but technically that's not my job it's up too the lvl 8+ admins to deal with those things. In my free time however I do assist in it! I suggest that you guys make a new thread! If it's ok with MST of course! Instead of posting we need an new supporter for reasons that's obviously not there! Make a new thread in selecting a "NEW SUPPORTER" start with with an poll like in this one and MST would go from there! Thanks ,

Tech, people posted why they want new supporter, and then Mimus, Ligustah and you showed up, it was looking like you had no idea what we were talking about, refused all what were saying and you said gimme evidenced, like it's some osrt of court. Right now it's not about supporter, besides, I spoke with iTim and he said he will be more active, if that will happen for real, I am done with this topic.

Right now I have a feeling that this topic will change into talking about you, Technine. Towards Puitje you overreacted, you could have completly ignore him, but no, you went ahead and warned him, but lets say it's justified (even if it's not IMO). You had no reason to this to Chris, NO REASON.

And I will won't let switch this topic to "let's blame Chris" topic, it went that way in SB, here, I will not let it.

what we want to do now and tell you about are two things:

1. Have a final decision about the suggestion made in this thread (a new aka. another supporter).

2. Have a proper solution for other things that came up during the discussion.


As to number one, we will indeed follow the suggested promotion of another supporter due to the given arguments (mainy the statement that even with one really active supporter there is still a high chance of this person being afk for once and then there is no back-up).



Number two will actually be a longer post.
During the discussion in the thread and aswell in PMs and the SB it came more and more clear that some people seem to have a problem with Technine being supporter. Unfortunately we have not been provided with any other proof than the few things we could see on our own which speak a language of both a not-so-correct handling of situations aswell as an understandable irritation and aggression due to the recent attacks against his person.

We would like to give you a little flashback about the supporter/regulator job:
In the past we have stomped this spots out of the ground in order to deal with forum things (supporter for tickets and regulator for things like keeping threads clean etc.). Because the forum has no high spots except for the administrators (which equals MST), any supporter and regulator is directly "ordered" by us.
Because the only job of a supporter is solving tickets written to him, he has almost no direct contact to forum users (apart from a rare comment on the ticket if clarification is needed). So unlike e.g. server supremes, who have to have a decent relation with the members/be on good terms with members/be liked by members, a supporters relation to other people does (or at least should) not matter.

A supporter just does what you tell him to do via the ticket, so we tbh do not really understand why some people do not seem to be able to put away this like-him-or-not-thing when it comes to the supporters tasks (any other jobs and personal talks etc. are a whole different subject though).

Our solution, intertwined with number one (promoting another supporter) will be to remove the current supporters (iTim and Technine) and put the supporter tasks back to the job an MST has to do and which we from now on will do again (so, more work for us but hopefully less problems for you).

Please let us note that this is not to be seen as a punishment towards Technine and/or iTim, it is just the, in our opinion, most efficient methode to deal with the problem.

We do hope that with this action we can solve the present and prevent future supporter-problems caused by personal feelings towards each other, since we do anticipate you to believe us if we say whatever personal problems we might have with people, we will be able to look past them and just do our job (cause hey, how ure gonna be MST if you cant blind out your personal view?)

tl;dr: Member Supporters are removed and replaced by the MST Supporters until further notice.

For now I'll just overlook the fact that you basically ignored everything we wrote so far, and I will explain again, as detailed as possible, why this decision isn't going to be made by the mass, even if it means repeating ourselves.

First of all, there will be two new supporters as of now. The only reason the supporter job exists is to take some work off our (forum administrators) shoulders. Like the supremes, they were appointed and (if needed) removed by us. Unlike the server supremes, however, a supporter doesn't need to be popular among the members, or even needs to be a member of this clan for that matter. For example, Teleport has been running this forum for quite a long time even though he wasn't a member anymore at that time.

The supporters don't make any decisions, they don't make rules or promote other users on forum. It shouldn't be anyone's business who exactly is taking care of the support tickets, as no potential personal differences make any difference in the work being done. It either is done, or it is not. And if a supporter is found to not serve some members that supporter will simply be removed by us.
We are the only persons, who need to directly work with the people in charge of forum support.

We've always reserved the right to make personnel decisions regarding the highest positions within the clan - both in server and in forum, because we are ultimately liable for the actions of the people that we promote (e.g. we need to fix stuff they break). As I mentioned earlier, we will always try to meet the members' expectations, when it comes to server supremes, because good relations among the members and admins of a server are very important to us, however that just doesn't hold true for forum related jobs. That is why we won't make this decision become a popularity contest.

To prevent any further grievances regarding the current support team we chose to reclaim the tasks associated with it. This means that there will be two active (Mimus & Ligustah) supporters again, as was requested by the members.
