Something i absolutely love, but do not eat often (cause at my parents my dad and at home lig dont like to see it :P) is called "mettbrötchen".

Its kinda a bun with minced meat (usually raw, sometimes smoked), some salt, pepper and onions. And you can eat some gherkins (lil pickled cucumbers) with it.


Some people do say its "unhealthy" since ure not supposed to each lots of raw red meat (sickness n stuff) so its more of a rare dish, but pretty popular especially in east germany, e.g. at events in the form of a "Mettigel" (minced meat hedgehog) like this:

Hey Mimus, that's the power meal for men and power women ! I din't know of that kind of meal in Germany at all! It may be similar to Tatarian Beefsteak, just not soaked for days, as I see.
I can really envisage it with some mugs of beer or with some strong red wine!

Mette, it is high time for you to start learning to prepare fine food stuff, it is worth, believe me. :P
