This thread is supposed to be fuel for a good discussion, not for remarks I would rather answer face to face.

The answer on this specific remark would be that, since venice is a fucking 1000000000090000000 year old map, everyone who has at least played ET on a normal server, has it already. If you don't, shame on you. It was added solely on that assumption, and I was willing to make an exception for it, since its one helluva good assumption

But still the people, who hasn't played it (read: some visitors, some newbies, some casual players who just want to play on these "No Download" -maps) has to download it, and since, the map (according to others) is 29 mb map, would they be happy about it? I actually like Chris' idea to ask visitors would they download a map which is 29 MB, and post their reactions here. Im certain there is people who hasn't played the map.

And as Chris said not anyone have an A+ internet. Not anyone has an interest to play in another map but "No Download" -map. The usual, familiar, safety ones.
I personally disagree to add or change any map in ND server. Although I voted for pirates, since it is small and new map for me. And I want to be influental about this, since it seems this case is inevitable.
