Have u guys heard that Minecraft 1.9 got released on 29th feb?

Its a nice update, new mobs, new stuff, new sounds, new blocks etc. but the problem is that,

Alot of people made a complaint about the Combat mode in Minecraft 1.9 and however many servers which had PVP battles and stuff ... they didnt wanted to recommend this 1.9 version on their server as the combat mode literally got fcked up , for example now Axe is so OP than sword, if u combine sharpness books with the axe, then u can do a 1 Hit kill, plus Axe is now having a slow attack speed,

so i was thinking that our server has nothing to do with PVP, maybe lets check out the 1.9 version ?
