Jaymod Ideas and suggestions
(27-12-2013, 01:41 PM)Kjell Wrote: So today I was playing in your NoD server.

We were playing in Fuel dump. I was playing Allies and I managed to breach the door beneath secondary Allies spawn. So The tank went through the wall. So Allies were spawning at secondary point. At that time, A member( will not tell names) was using Tank weapon to kill enemies who were coming out of the spawn.

My question is: it this assumed to be Heavy SK because there is nothing really written in SK rules.
So I would like to hear you view on this. I've talked to Ocean about this issue and he told me, he thinks it is but it is nowhere written in the rules to be precise.

So give me your opinions please.

It is allowed because that's a crewed weapon.

It's not considered heavy spawnkill, because it's part of the map and we can't do anything about it. Same with the second Axis spawnpoint in Gold rush. Allied players may use the tank, as well as the MG and kill Axis players, even in spawn areas.

I know it may be a bit confusing, but what should we do? Tell people that they can't use the MG of the tank or the constructed MG? That would be even more ridiculous.

If it is not, please notify the other by telling them AND writing down in rules.

It is not heavy spawnkill. The example johnny gave pretty much explains why... It is not possible to make a rule involving weapons placed by the makers of maps or involving weapons of tanks.
I'll add it to the rule topic.

I agree with storch.
Heavy weapons from mg and tank should be allowed. It's part of the map.
Kinda strange if we gonna forbid guests from using them.

Are you friends will think about the return of the old system of recruitment?
Some players returned to the DC clan, and with each days more people leave the game or is inactive.

Mixer, I saw today 39 players online! Smile (on TWC ND server), so I think we don't really need to back to K/D pointless factor. We still focus on maturity, not on militia style.
