How to make great server? Uhh. It's not about mod. Not about maps and other extra features. It's only about people and athmosphere in there. You know ND phenomen? Athmosphere and people. ND is popular beacuse of the athmosphere and polite, nice admins. You can make great server with great maps, don't forget about keeping good athmosphere out there.

Well better don't count me in, I will most likely be much less active from tomorrow on. I just had vacation the last 3 weeks, that's why I was more active.

Anyway, those maps Teammate mentioned there look very very good, maybe add V2 Base or Adlernest, then it doesn't get much better. But I also have to agree with Kokok, you can have the best mod, maps and settings in the world, as long as you don't have regular visitors, capable admins and an overall good atmosphere it won't work. And in the state ET is in right now it's very hard to build up something like that. I guess most of the players in ET already found their favourite server which they just keep connecting to. The rest just search for the server with most players in.
It can only work with adversiting the server as much as possible, but even then it will take a long time until establishing a new server among those few active servers around in ET. Plus there will come up the problem that ND and the new server are 'stealing' each others visitors.

I don't want to look like a damn pesimist now, I just wanted to point out some obstacles that might appear and that you should be really really patient with this new server and not throw away the whole thing if it didn't work out yet after 2 weeks.
In any case, in my opinion adding Jaymod + Teammates maps would make much more sense than a silent mod server.

Only my humble opinion.

Hey guys, sorry to put my nose in this topic, but, i can point few things, ND got lots of visitors for few hours some days, is like a treasure for the server, under my opinion the server lack of maps, we have the basic stuff , and we have the server with restrictions, like the Spawn killing rule, no bad words, panzer with 2 rounds for start, etc..

So just saying but, cut the rules , put more maps, change few things in the server , and we see if we can get more visitors....

Did u guys even test/come to the server before u made your post? I bet some of u didn't.
