Either way I agree with you on several parts that your saying, but the way your saying it just doesn't motivates people to work on it. Afterall this is a clan for people who play a game, for people who play this game for fun. Just make sure to remember that.

Clysma pretty much answered for me. Under normal circumstances though, you would be right Hero, but unfortunately this has gone on far too long. Trust me when I say the ones I am referring to here, know who they are. Hopefully this warning or threat as you call it will be the perfect motivation to straighten up.

Clearly you have read between the lines, which is what I am hoping the ones I am talking about here are able to do as well. I have patiently sat back, watched and read. Occasionally hinting to some in a friendly way without any success. So now is the time for a friendly "warning".

As Clysma said. It is no fun for anyone when one of our chosen admin or a member starts to abuse another member or guest. In fact it chases both members and guests away to other clan servers. As it has in the past. I think it's time to stop that and if it means demoting someone if they choose not to heed the warning, then so be it.

If a Supreme can't do his job right, there are other members here that are qualified to do the job correctly.

Let me clear you something because you have a wrong definition of a threat and you use it constantly if something doesn't match your view.

"If you kill somebody, you'll go to prison" -> not threat, it's statement.
"Go out of building full of flames or you'll burn" -> also not threat.

"I'll kill you" -> that's threat.

Enforcing law or in this case rules is nowhere near threat.

I have noticed over the past couple of months that some of you are not following the clan rules and in some cases, you are not enforcing the rules.

I have received complaints about all levels of our team. As high as server Supremes. Supremes that are either breaking the rules or not fairly enforcing them, when they openly see lower level members disrespecting members and guests alike.

This is not how we expect any admin of TWC to behave. A supremes job is a tough one. I of all people know that. We are expected to follow the rules to set examples for all of our members, guests and friends. So when a friend starts to act out or break rules it's easier to laugh with them than it is to enforce a rule and have to punish them. I get that, but it is not the way to do things.

Supremes are expected to treat people fairly. You find it easy to punish someone you don't care for, but when a friend needs to be punished, some of you are over looking it. This is not acceptable.

All of you were given this high level out of respect for your time spent here and for your hard work. Trust me when I say, it can be taken away from you just as easy as it was given. I play no favorites. If you fail to uphold your obligation to the clan and all it's members and guests, your level will be taken away and of course your feelings will be hurt.

I for one would rather avoid all that at this time. Which is why I am writing this general warning to all of you. (not just Supremes)

The complaints I have received are mounting up and server logs have been checked. I know who I am referring to here and am saddened at seeing this.

I am confident that you also know who you are and what your doing to be issued this warning. I will not mention any names at this time, but if I have to come to you one more time, the result will not be such a friendly one.

Each of you represent TWC. Your behavior influences other members of this clan. You can show no favoritism to any member or members. You are to enforce the rules at all times and you are to punish anyone who breaks them. If you have for some reason forgotten them, please take some time to read them again.

I hope that drawing your attention to this problem ends it now. That you know who you are and what it is that you are doing wrong. I hope that each of you correct this problem and we can move on without any further repercussions. I take no joy in having to demote or punish any member, but each of you I am sure, know that I will enforce the rules of this clan.

Something happend in ND today as well, some people where insulting/accusing and stuff, i was settling things with them, if its not to much to ask, can you check and see if it was the right thing to do?

Interestingly enough saying "I am going to sue you" is a threat that you can in fact be sued for.

On topic:
What Mayhem posted was indeed just a fair warning. I don't think, and I am sure neither does he, that warning a server supreme is nowhere near necessary. After all, they are supposed to be head of enforcement of their server.
So this should by no means be considered a threat. Mayhem would have been just as correct, if he had just demoted the offending person(s).

I would also like to lose some words about what was mentioned concerning fun. Of course the whole point of this clan is to have fun in. If everybody got that, there would be no need for admins at all. But unfortunately, some people tend to find enjoyment in making fun of others, in one way or another. That is why we sometimes need to step in. We don't enjoy "punishing" people, but we just prefer retaining reasonable fun for everyone.

Where is that? Prolly in the USA where you can sue anyone for anything. Could you show me any example case ending with a verdict against just telling to sue someone?

I could agree with "Give me money or I'm gonna sue you" or something like that but that alone? In this case, boss saying to his worker "Please do your job better or I'm gonna find a replacement" can be sued too? Sounds like a threat too. Or a guy going to a late and very loud neighbourhood party telling to be silent or he's going to call the police. That's strongly against common sense.
