Solved Demos & windowed mode (archived by Mimus)

1. In oasis demos I have everything black, don't know if in other maps too. Happens with all mods. I thought it's a buggy pk3 but can't find anything suspicious.
Also in some maps like UJE_baserace_sniper the fog is more dense than when playing on server, can't turn it off nor make normal.

2. My ET starts in windowed (smallscreen) mode. Have this issue on 5th ET install. How to make it start in fullscreen again?

About your 2nd part, have you tried ALT+ENTER ?
And in options "Fullscreen" is "On"

Try
/r_mode -1
/r_customaspect 1
/r_customwidth (your reso width here)
/r_customheight (your reso height here)

And after this ALT+ENTER

Hmmm it was off although when I checked /r_fullscreen in console it was 1. Thanks for tip.

ETmain uses a different configuration than Jaymod, so settings you make while on the server won't be present while starting the game.
When you are on the server, a /vid_restart should load all those settings from Jaymod though.

Checked it in main menu too, not only on server. But doesn't matter anymore.

.pk3 which bugged demos was one of the qpacks from etrun mod. But that didn't fix fog problem.
