Solved saving demos (archived by Mimus)

hey guys,

for some reason my demo's and screenshots doesnt save at all on my computer.

Someone know where to adjust the saving place for demos and screenshots?

or i might use the wrong command in the console?

Demo's and screenshots will be saved in the directory of the active ET within the folder of the mod which you play on.

Demo's made in No Download will be saved in (...)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\jaymod\demos

You can't change it.

Command/CVAR	Description
autoScreenshot	Takes screenshot, JPG, descriptive filename
screenshot	Takes a screenshot, in high quality lossless TGA format
screenshotJPEG	Takes a screenshot, in lossy-compression JPEG format
cg_useScreenshotJPEG	Wether autoScreenshot’s are of the JPEG or TGA format
autoRecord	Records a demo with descriptive filename
record	Starts recording a demo.
stoprecord	Stops recording a demo.
cl_autorecord	At 1, then it will start/stop recording a demo at the start/end of each match.

maybe our file get overwritten after you make a new demo?
Do you have a folder called "demos" is your jamod folder?
Default: C:/program Files/Wolfenstein Enemy Territory/jaymod/demos
If yes. are there any files in them?

i have a folder called like that but there are only old records saved in there.

from 2013 all the other demos just dont exist it looks like

Are you sure you haven't installed another ET, saved in another location?

try this
ingame open consolescreen and type
/record testdemo

after that make a scan on your PC for testdemo

I had the same problem that Bloodbear and I did exactly the same as You have just written. It will surely do the job.

its located in a complete diffrent location then i searched or smth.

its kinda weird cause its on the computer but i only could find it with the testdemo try then i was able to open the location where all my demo's were
