There has always been some sort of bad influence people, but we can steer them into the right way. I am positive and optimistic that everyone can change to a certain degree, also I will not stop trying untill I am satisfied.

you know i dont normally comment on stuff like this because i feel like it might fuel fires and stuff but suprisingly people havent used this thread to create a shitstorm. it really shows people do want to become united and friends with eachother.
as for the situation with the finnish players, ive never had a problem with them. i find them really funny in a troll sense (my type of humor anyways ) even though sometimes they make me RQ on ND :P i think that people get mad at them because they are quite a different culture but also everybody here isnt the same level of maturity and when they get rekt on ND (not shaming here because it especially happens to me :P) they get really mad and scream hax and stuff. i think it just comes down to some people being less mature and starting fights which escalate and causes cracks in the community (also not shaming here because we all was once this immature init)

as for the screenshot with number, he was asking to get banned and instead got muted and tried to reconnect to evade the mute which didnt work and i found that quite funny. (especially funny since when i insult him, he tries to get me in some kind of trouble when hes been starting fights, attention seeking, manipulating and insulting everyone for a very long time)

On topic:

Finnhating has been a thing in TWC since 2016 when Tupakki and Snowman suddenly appeared . Its been almost 5 years and this is still a thing.

Think about it: Theres one finnish supreme, one leader (well, 2 if you count Snowman), one co-leader, one level 7 admin + numerous lower level members. We would not have this many high ranked finns if we were trolling all the time. We do realise that we've made mistakes in the past, but we just have to live with it.

If we want to keep TWC alive, we have to move on and forget all these things. You don't have to like everyone, but you have to stop the witch-hunt.

PS. When I saw the name of this thread, I thought Zone was talking about Unity game engine.

I guess its the way for us to break the ice when meeting new people. I mean back in the day Narko was a little troublemaker in TWC, look at him now, his behavior has changed. A complete 180 to what it was before.

It was the same for me, back when I was a Headshot member, used to be a nuisance for others all the time. I got alot of shit for it, and sure it was deserved, but look at me now. If you play on NoDownload server with me, or just interact with me on Discord or other games, you know my behavior has changed drastically since my time over at Headshot . But for some reason, certain people cling on to the idea of the past you. Maybe its because you dont interact with us, so you don't see our change, but its a really negative point of view to have, to live in the past and not acknowledge change.

Yes, connected to BG a few times to snipe there, (because I actually enjoy some of BG settings) with Tuksi, spammed some unnecessary vsays, but I have stopped using vsays or in general being a dick in BG altogether aswell, why? To change for the better.

We really are friendly, once you get to know us

Hey, I wanted to butt in here to give my piece. (Just delete and PM if this is out of turn) As an old ex-member, I remember seeing this in the past quite often. As an observer, this is NOT a good image for your community. It almost boils down to pure racism (I suppose anti-nationalist towards Finns in general but w/e)

I know I was banned from that Discord awhile ago for making a harmless joke, but IMO hating on Finns and just having that overall toxic attitude of "kys" and just overall rudeness and degeneracy is much, much worse. I know I have zero say in this community anymore -- nor do I want to. But I think this needs to change if you want your community to improve, in any aspect really.

Take my opinion with what you will. But from an observer's perspective who checks these forums maybe once in a blue moon, this is hellla toxic.

I don't have much more input to this than what people have already voiced in this topic, but as an outsider I would like to point out this:

I understand what you mean, as this is "your playerbase" after all, but these gaps between the servers and their playerbases only work up to break this unity Zone is talking about, even further.
Of course the initiative has to come from both parties, but the servers should try to make up their past conflicts and try to not only work towards their own servers, but for your clan as a whole. Lately it has incresingly seemed to me like there has been some warning shots of a starting war between ND and BG playerbases (of course this doesn't mean every member on either server, but in general). I think this is a big one to try and avoid.

I've played on TWC servers for ~10 years, and as the inactivity of this whole game has been going worse and worse, what zone is talking about in this topic truly is the only way for you to survive while still focusing on this game that is well past it's glory days. Hope it works, as I do enjoy visiting here from time to time :-)
If I have the motivation to write it, I might go into more why I sometimes act in the way that has been described about these "finnish players".
