How do players see through the trees and other obstacles (archived by $4m4el)

Forgive me for being naive, but a simple question, how do players see through the tree branches and some other items that for a regular Joe they have to put up with. Now I know all about turning foliage and smoke off, but removing all the tree branches and other stuff has to be some sort of a Cvar alteration. And if so, is that not cheating according to the rules?

Just watched a few players lately and sure enough whilst speccing they can see the enemy as plain as day through thick tree shrubbery, yet as a spec I am thinking "how the hell did he see that guy" I couldn't lol

also u can join us always is better to play with lvl behind your back, dont tell me that u dont want to use !splat command when sb is standing on your mortar

I agree with you. It should be forbidden.
But ofcourse there are always wannabes that wants to rule everyone.
They script, they download all kind of crap the get the maximum advantages, that's why I went to Trickjump a long time ago.

Cheaters, cheaters everywhere.

But beside this, always just have fun enjoy the game and laugh as much as possible and chat with people all around the world.

You have to change 2 nVidia parameters to obtain this. The only downside is : you lose your crosshair.

Unless you play windowed mode and use some external software to add a crosshair.

Side note Why do people even cheat in a game from 2003 in 2018? Why waste time on that when you could be yelling a trees for 5 hours a day or possibly be baking a cake and throwing it at a wall.
