Solved Changing to a New Computer (archived by Mimus)

[johntiger1]

Hi all, I know I haven't been posting as often as I should. But now I sort of have a problem:

The 'rents are cutting off my internet, but I'm getting a laptop. As far as I know, your xp and id are saved somewhere on the computer you play on. Does anybody know which folders I need to move to my new computer to keep my old profile and stuff?

Much thanks,
John

Example for me, i have windows 7 so its like this for me

Code:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory

After you went in there, You see many folders, as far as i know i think
like hmm xD well here i got two folders n!tmod and jaymod,
those two folders have a profile folder, with your stuff saved in.
i think thats the answer your looking for, Im not a pro, just trying to give a helping hand

No. For xp you need to copy etkey from etmain and nkey from nitmod. Profiles don't have saved GUID.
