Hey hey,

I'm posting a little announcement here instead opening a new thread, because this one is not closed yet.

So I mentioned something about this activity/leaving thingy during the SW meeting yesterday. Well, I left the clan and yet I kept doing the same things regularly...mapping, scripting, organising and playing. However, I think it's time to uninstall the game and game related programs/files for good, because it's kinda useless to stay there without any ambitions and goals. Some of you wanted to start new projects with me, but I let you know that I'm gonna leave the game after finishing some stuff with the ND Guys. So you probably won't be able to reach me, if you have any questions and ET related problems. Sorry about that, but I feel, I'm not as useful as I used to be.

So big THANKS to Slash, Thrasher and Zone for helping me with every development related activities. And same goes for those Guys who were patient and friendly when they faced me on the servers

I might come back next year or smth, but I'm not sure.

Hey Warden,

A big big thank you for the things you've done (from maps, to scripts and event organizing and for the big activity on the servers - you helped a ton!). Also without you, the Sniper server wouldn't be as popular as it is right now. There is no words to describe how grateful I am for your presence. You have given me the motivation to play on Sniper and be active elsewhere. You're really humble, I am sure you will never admit the fact that your work here is helpful and great, hell I even think you deserve an Outstanding Achievement award. The work you put into ET is beyond normal You're a great person and a good role model.

I hope we can still be in touch and perhaps play some games together.

you know warden, you are kinda strange in the fact that you just pop up randomly and basically do more for TWC in like a few months than ive probably done in all my years here and to top it all off, you are so like.. idk.. ego-less(?) that you behave as if you havent done a thing for anybody like ever.
on top of all the things you have done, you have been a great and fun player on our servers. you've been humble, funny, active and even got good very quickly in panzerwar.

you deserve an Outstanding Achievement award.

im probably asking for too much by agreeing with zone here but it would be nice to let you know that u really are smth special here with an OA award.
im gonna miss you quite alot though warden along with many other people here. good luck on wherever you go in life warden and feel free to come here if you want to look in a community where everybody loves you for everything good you've done

Okay,

I'm going to post some "cleanup" thoughts to avoid misunderstandings.

First of all, I don't need award for spamming the ftp with some additional files like scripts, maps etc etc etc. Ppl asked me if I was able to show the useful side of my beloved hobbies; I said yes every single time, when I had the motivation and required knowledge to start new projects. I'm sure most of these Guys could handle the server side problems easily... even without my supporting activities. I always got the positive/negative feedback and that was completely enough. Why? Because I know all of my creations are far from perfect. Imperfect products don't deserve perfect prize and award. There will be always a better way to do something. Why should I wait for clap after releasing something sh*tty (just like wf2). You might find it great, but that thing is just a little piece of rubbish, waste of time and energy, another failure. I know all of us have different taste, but pls don't tell me that you like smth, that's so bad t shouldn't even exist. Nowadays we face a so many cheap and valueless products and we simply don't care about them. However, the lack of the quality destroys everything and no matter what things are we talking about. Facing the fact that I spent a lot of valuable time with some valueless rubbish makes me sad and extremely disappointed. Some ppl say it's called pessimism, but I say it's just simple realistic sense.

Secondly, this "egoless" adjective makes no sense after describing the connection between me and my creations. The acceptable level of egoism and pride is an essential part of our life. Without these feelings we are nothing just talking robots made of flesh and blood.

This post night be a bit difficult to understand, so sorry about that, but I'm getting warmer after my 4th cider. No hard feelings, just being honest. That's all.

the mentality you have is really interesting but very different to the mentality i have. whereas you see it as incomplete/rubbish if it isnt perfect, i see both perfect and imperfect things from you as real and to be praised at just for the effort of dedicating your time out for something that really benefits us. the finish for us is like the bonus cherry on the top.
