Other Making a Minecraft Server

Hi everyone,


I know there was already a server few years ago. []


Actually, Minecraft is getting a huge comeback. With RTX's graphics cards, RayTracing went to be the coolest thing to do in Minecraft.
In fact, asking to do a new Minecraft server isn't for nothing. PvP community has always been there, and will stay here whatsoever.

That's why I'm asking today, to gain more members, to make a new Minecraft server.
I'm actually coding a lot in Java, C++ and C#. I've done alot of minecraft pvp servers where there were more than 50 players simultaneously connected.

Why shouldn't we open a Minecraft server on a VPS ? Like Skywars, or even Factions ? This would bring up members, visitors, and more.. This would also come with events, an huge community on Discord... .

I can vouch to leave the Trickjump to become a manager of the server. I see the future in this server, more than in W:ET though.

In general I'm not opposed to setting up new stuff and we have plenty of resources to use on the new host machine. The issue we had in the past with Minecraft servers was that they require a lot of fine tuning and ongoing maintenance, which nobody could do very well. If you feel you could take care of such a server we can definitely look into setting one up.

Indeed, I fully understand the responsibilities that are to be taken.
It should be noted that I spend almost all my time on this game. That's why I will take care of it exactly the same as it could be my baby.

However, if you agree about this idea, please feel free to answer me back. I'll enjoy to do a TWC Server.


Edit :: Maintenance wouldn't be a problem. I'm quite comfortable managing a server.

So, what kind of demands are there systemwise for people to play minecraft on their system? If you would make a poll, don`t forget to mention the minimum demands.! There is no use for doing this if people are not able to play this with their system or would cost to much if upgrades are needed.
Also there would be a risk involved that players that now are playing ET are going to play mainly the minecraft game and the ET servers will run more empty. Make a poll and see what the result will be. Don`t think in the moment, but also look forward.!!

Did have a look at the game, but for me ( this is very personal ) this game would not be one I ever will play, the graphics are ( again, this is personal ) awful. And to be totally honest, if you are used to play games like ET, BF series or COD series, I can`t imagine to play a game like minecraft, looks to much like playmobil . ( these actionfigures for kids. ) Sorry Echo, not my piece of cake ( and again, this is very personal ) I respect the action you want to take.!!

I think almost half of TWC's members don't play ET anymore and it would bring more ppl to forums and revive the clan a little if u bring another game. Also for minimum specs, wasn't hard to find this…. Honestly there's more grown up ppl playing Minecraft than there's kids playing it.

To be honest, even a low end PC can run minecraft without any problems.

i started playing minecraft java edition lately and i would love to play on our new MC server online, though i dunno how to do that tbh
