Ludi tried to help me but didnt work out. blame ludi for this post.
i go from library to application support to etlegecay then there has to stand etmain according to ludi, but i have crashlog txt. with this

Please copy pak0.pk3, pak1.pk3 and pak2.pk3 from the 'etmain' path of your Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory installation to:

"/Volumes/ET Legacy v2.76/ET Legacy/etmain"

So since i didnt know anything about pc's what todo next?

I understand that you are using ET: Legacy because the official installation gave you some error? What was it? Did you do what the README file says?

Ludi said in the next post that you couldn't find the etmain folder of ET Legacy. How did you install ET Legacy? Did you follow the guide here: https://dev.etlegacy.com/projects/etlega...i/Mac_OS_X
If not, do it like the guide says! These are the steps:
1. Download the ET Legacy Mac installer on https://www.etlegacy.com/download/file/126
2. Once the download is completed, open the installer by double clicking "ET Legacy v2.76.dmg". A new window appears.
3. Just drag the ET Legacy App onto the Applications folder on the opened window. If you haven’t got admin rights, you’ll most likely be asked to enter your password.

Then you can move on to getting the original game files of ET (also explained in the guide):
Two options where to get these:

1) "Safe" way - from official installers: To do so you can download the official Mac package from https://cdn.splashdamage.com/downloads/g....2.60d.dmg
When it's dowloaded, doubleclick to open it and then you should see the contents of the pack. Then navigate to the pack's "etmain" folder and grab the files: "pak0.pk3", "pak1.pk3" and "pak2.pk3". Not sure if you can just drag and drop them, but at least ⌘ + C & ⌘ + V should work. So for now Copy them with ⌘ + C. Move on to the Paste part below method 2.

2) From my mirror: If you want to skip those steps to download and unpack from official source, I grabbed and mirrored just those files that you need for your convenience:

When you have downloaded the files copy them to clipboard by selecting them and then pressing ⌘ + C.

Paste: So now that we have the files copied on the clipboard, we need to paste them using the instructions of the ET Legacy Mac install:
8. Open the Application folder on your finder and search for the ET Legacy app.
9. Depending on your OS X version, you can CTRL+click the app symbol and either go for "Show Package Contents" or "Open in a new Tab"
10. Now you can open the etmain folder of ET Legacy and paste the previously copied pk3 files by Edit→Paste or by pressing ⌘V.

Now try if ET Legacy works. If it doesn't, just post whatever error you are getting here and we will try to help you solve them!

I told him to do the same thing but he says he can't find the etmain folder.

I googled a bit and that path the error is giving out does not look right.
Where did he install it?

KK this problem is solved, many thx :P
next question i try to get in no download but then i get this errorET:L crashed last time it was running. Do you want to reset settings to default values?

Note:
If you are running several client instances ensure a different value
of CVAR fs_homepath is set for each client.
Otherwise the same profile path is used which may cause other side effects.

What if you just choose no, will it work then?
It might be just notifying you about when it was crashing before when you didn't have the files.

Even if you press yes and reset the settings it should be fine as this is a new installation. If you have a cfg backed up somewhere you can just load that afterwards.

i choose no and it keeps crashing..
what todo now? i don't get notification anymore
it was a new error after i putted the filed at etmain
i can enter the game but when i want to join no download it crashes

I don't really know, does it give any other errors?

Could take a look in ~/Library/Application Support/etlegacy
and see that everything is okay there like the configs etc
