Computer Slow Computer/ ET Help
#11
By reset i meant just did a factory reset and made it back to as if I just bought it.

I used msconfig and ccleaner, game booster and my start up has gotten a lot better,

one problem is just slow gameplay in et, always connection interrupted,, it does freeze a lot but I'm gonna try play with Ethernet and I feel like that would solve the issue hopefully

I'm most likely just going to save up for a pc anyways.

anyone know anything else I can download to make my pc run faster

Thanks DarkMyst for the help and I believe that my gameplay does run better with wired connection, well it’s playable enough and I went on and changed my settings such as all the cl packets and whatever and it’s helped and made the game stop freezing a lot less and running a lot better. I recently upgraded my WiFi which is I believe 200mbps or whatever it is ( virgin media ). I’ll try running it tomorrow, hopefully I can catch you on big or wherever, thanks again! <33

Well, according to PassMark, there's a big difference between these CPUs, the i7 is way much better, about 45% faster.
source : PassMark - Intel-i7-2600-vs-AMD-A10-7890K-vs-AMD-Athlon-X4-880K

Anyway, you can find some nice stuff on eBay, for less than 180 €.
eBay - i7 2600 in Desktops, alles-in-een

Be aware these CPUs are practically the best in their respective categories.
So upgrading the CPU will be almost impossible.
Potentially, an i7-2600 can be replaced by a i7-2700K, but with only a 6% power-gain.

Ahh, the good old bottleneck discussion.

You are better off buying a used LGA 1155 motherboard for your 2600K, since you already own that... It's a great overclocker as well, just give it some more speed and you are set.
Also I believe this would be the cheapest option.

Just downgrading your CPU because your GPU would be the bottleneck is really dumb, since you ALREADY OWN THE CPU ANYWAYS Biggrin

There is no downsides of using the 2600K really, sure your GPU won't push as many frames to it as the CPU could handle, but like Le Prez. said, it's somewhere around 45% faster in all tasks. So it will speed up pretty much everything compared to anything the FM2+ socket can offer :-D

If you ask me, those bottleneck calculators should only be used when buying a whole new setup, and you are not sure which CPU and GPU combo to get that make sense together... In the used market there will always be performance mismatches but so what, you are saving money my dude!

I would definitely look for a used LGA 1155 Z67 mobo and then in the future you can just update the GPU if you want to play some more graphically demanding game.

Hey, long time no see again.

Instead of a new thread ill just use this one again.

Im using a hp beats laptop but getting low fps like 10-20 when in gunfights and outside areas in maps. However im getting 80-125 (capped) in indoor areas most the time when im not shooting just looking/moving.

Is there a fix to this or do I just need a better pc/laptop.

That fps is from me using ethernet as well, downloaded the ultimate installer and used the fast graphics..

processor : AMD A10-5750M APU with RAdeon HD graphics 2.50GHZ

RAM is 8GB with 7.21 useable

System is 64bit operating system, x64 based processor

If that helps?
