Hello fellas,

as may some of u know Fortin and I wanted to get the NoQuarter server up again.

As nobody is giving us the chance to do so, after writing several messages to the MST, which problems NoQuarter has.
Which now lead to the final break down of the Server, and MST's are not doing anything, not even replying to anything, I wont start messaging them again, to get more and more ignored as fortin is too.

Server been lead to the final death of the misconfiguration, failing map cycle, missing scripts, which I would have changed and added if anybody would care to let the server alive.

Server is now unplayable, no bots, no players, no map cycle, no xp saving, several settings, making a gameplay unplayable.


This is my last leaving post for good.
Im out of this, trying to help a server and getting ignored by the MST's.


Thanks all for the good but short time on the other Servers.

To u Fortin, may u will have luck and get an answer maybe in the next year.
If u have any questions regarding setting up NoQuarter, scripts, lua etc. just message me.



I will still play as a friend on the servers, but not longer as a member.

Every supreme is able to restart server, but i didn't receieve any message about it, nor pm. I saw you also played in tj server without tags while talking bout your failing in joining another tj clan (that apperently wasn't recruiting at all) just few days ago. so i was counting the day before seeing a thread like this.

To be honest, it isn't supriese for me

Server is now unplayable, no bots, no players, no map cycle, no xp saving, several settings, making a gameplay unplayable.

How it is possible? When I left this clan everything works fine. There was some little bugs with for example rifle/mortar camera. If you want I can check for some playable backup and upload it if Fortin agree.

And you have to know that this server is little broken. I mean for example: this same files works good on my private server but in twc nq even lua scripts not works good.

Sad to see that all my work was destroyed

Okay, so let's start from the beginning!

I can fully understand you, because it's hard to be patient when you would like to do something "big". However we have to calm down and wait for the MST. They are very busy too (life, working, keeping the clan alive etc.) it's not so easy.

You were thinking about a perfect server in NQ mod and your ideas and plans were really cool when you shared them with me. I don't have so much "skills" in special settings, like scripts and lua, so I decided to stay out of these things, before I ruin everything. I'm always able to help and give my little support when you need it and the only thing that we can do is waiting for the MST, because they are the key of our succes and we can also ask other supremes about that.

I started to analyse some special NQ settings, because I would like to learn new things to be more experienced (it was the other reason of my inactivity), but it will be much harder without you. So I open the gates for every useful ideas, because I appreciate your support.

This condition of the server is not permanent, we're able to change it if we want (with a little help ofc.).

Think it twice, because this decision is too early.

@Hammy, there were some problems with the server after you've left the clan. (Some maps and settings were bugged) so the server has a new update and we would like to make the server playable again, but I was too busy and it was almost impossible to visit the game. And I accept your idea (about this backup), because I know that you have enough experience...much more than me...

It's unfortunate that for some reason the success of the server depends on my person being available throughout the week. I simply am not most of the time and it's extremely unlikely to change in future. Maybe I should have been clearer in communicating that.

The other server supremes have wide reaching privileges and access (especially in regards to NQ) and can do many things (as some have noted in this thread) or escalate to me directly if needed. I suppose this also wasn't communicated clearly enough.

I implemented all changes that were requested and in turn never received a concrete answer to my questions for clarification on some aspects.

We moved the server to the new admin panel/server infrastructure precisely to work around the issues we've had with our previous setup. In our first tests everything seemed alright, but some crucial settings were still off, which meant some of the things didn't work. As I only really get time to look into these things during the weekends, the server was missing xp safe and bots for a week. Other things (maps getting stuck) could have been solved with a restart (from what I understand), which many people have had the power to do (not only supremes). So maybe I'm just too old, but I fail to understand how work is being destroyed here in just one week.

We're in fact working towards bringing it to its fullest potential by running everything on a modern stack that should behave just like your private server.

In the spirit of clear communication and expectation management I changed my bio and signature to make sure everyone is aware of my time constraints.
