I chat with my friend in FB, and said him to go on https://myexternalip.com/ site to let me know what is his External IP adress (We have the SAME ISP just to let you know)... I also checked and its 178.250.140.252... 1 minute later came the answer: Me also!! WTF? How can be this? Is this ban maybe have something same ?

Why not unbanned yet?? Tommy talked with you Mega today.. If you don't belive me, you must belive him, he is a long-time player here... We both talking the truth...

Yes indeed i haved a talk with Tommy today, ofc he will say what you told him to say,(you are friends in real life),it doesnt prove nothnig.Maybe you should contact your internet provider and ask them how its possible that so many ppl have the same IP Adress like you, and that you want your own.

Example : I have a computer, my wife has a computer. We have different IP address on our LAN, but the same public IP on WAN. Should be the same for room-mates, university buildings, work-place network... A solution would be to deactivate UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) on the box, if possible of course. Or change the TCP/IP properties, and set all automatic : automatic IP and automatic DNS. edit : clarity.

I already have atomatic IP and DNS... Now i disabled UPnP and doesn't work.. I still don't know why the admins don't give an unban... Everything proves that the ISP is shit and because that i can't play... That's not how an external (most likely the WAN address) IP address works. You have 1 provider, so 1 cable in/out so 1 external IP. Unless you have more cables coming from your provider, a weird subscription, or a VPN, you have the same external IP within the same household. To be more correct, with a VPN you still have the same external IP, it's just hidden by another "IP layer". Changing UPnP settings won't have any effect on the household IP address. It could however affect how LAN addresses (individual) are being handled.

Everything proves that your problem doesn't come from your ISP, but from your residence, you're using the same sub-network than your friends : (03-06-2017, 06:55 PM)Tankey Wrote: you have the same external IP within the same household. I am unsure whether I read your post correctly, but Wolfenstein:ET doesn't care about a subnetwork. The thing that actually matters is the external IP, which can be modified by changing your router's MAC-address but this would apply the same external IP to everyone in the complete network (note: depends on the provider, but why'd you go through all this hassle on a modem/router...) The fact that he seperated them in several sub-networks doesn't matter. It just prevents them accessing eachother's "own" network within the complete network (generally, exceptions excluded). Nevertheless, this is very unlikely because that would mean someone within his household has been banned on your servers. It really cannot be someone within his town/city, LOL! I cannot blame him (@Pr3datoR) for saying things like these as he's not into this kind of business, but it would've triggered my bullshit-alarm. Source: I'm a sysadmin at the HQ of petshops in The Netherlands and automate the shops with Point of Sale systems. As a matter of fact I recently made 2 sub-networks for such a shop: 1 for the cash-registers and 1 for home-work VPN access. They all share the same external IP from router to ISP. |
