I usually tend to not take a part in discussions like this but now I want to.
I saw what he said and have to say that it was one of the most, if not the most disgusting display I've seen. I'm up for a tough punishment, but not for permaban.

Banning someone forever should be punishment for an act that you can't setle. If he would have meant what he said and really trying to insult her, then I would be up for it.
In this case I know that he didn't try to insult her, just joking with his harsh and annoying style.
He is "joking" on pretty much same style, not so harsh though, on xfire from time to time. I just /care and ignore this and move on.

I understand that someones might take things like this very very hardly and be seriously pissed, but I suggest to just atleast try to ignore this.
If someone would say to me display like that thats just modified to target men, I would just either laugh at how stupid can someone be or then just completely ignore him.

I might not be the best person to talk about instulting and this since I'm finnish and some kinda of insulting has almost became normal way to talk here in schools. Atleast between guys.

Punishment I'd suggest would be global apologizing and ban for like 2 weeks - 1 month. After all, it was ment to be a joke. We've seen situations like this before, maybe not as hard as this, but that usually have just ended with apologize and few weeks ban.

I know what happend and had a talk with him in Xfire and he was really sad about the fact being permanently banned on all our servers.

I think a perma ban is too long for cases like this because he did already apologize and in my eyes he is really sorry about this

Give him a ban 1-2 weeks let him apologize (He already did in Xfire)
and just forget about this , We had some other members who crossed the limits who weren't even banned permanently for that so I dont see a reason to ban him perma.

But that isnt my decision , its MayheM's and the one he would ask.

Okay, now I know exactly what he said.

It was a sick joke, I admit. And crazy.
But here's the thing. I have male friends who's joke are even more sick than this, and I'm just used on that. I am insulted, but not that much. I actually get it was a joke, and no hard feelings towards that boy. He's even younger than me.

And I decided, he shouldn't get perm ban, because it was just a joke, and I understand.

That's all I guess.

I totally understand you. I really can't get offended about anything on the internet. But that's just me, some people get offended more easier and I totally understand them. And this crossed the line but I just don't think it was worth a permban.

Unban him at forums so he can make an apology and then decide the period of the ban?

Thank you immagirl. It is humbling to see someone so forgiving as this. I considered nomps a friend until this event and was completely surprised by his words.

You have nothing to feel bad about. This wasn't started by you. I only wish I would know what would have provoked him to say such a thing -_-

I feel that a punishment is warranted here though. I think it is a fair one.

2 week ban in forum
2 week ban in servers

He remains kicked from TWC

He must apologize to immagirl personally since he was talking to her personally.

Someone will have to copy and paste it in forum for him.

He must never talk to immagirl or any other female member of TWC or female guest in any such way.

If he can not accept these terms, he will stay banned. If he breaks these terms he will be banned permanently from TWC.
