Hi all.
I think some of you may know me as I ve been in this clan some time.
I recently started to play some ET again. mostly on BG and Nam. But a problem occurred. Thing is the my key's seem to get "stuck" in game. I dont think the problem has to do with my keyboard because the problems dont occur outside ET.
So ingame when i release "W" I keep moving forward. Sometimes it stops on its own, sometimes I need to press Esc.
Does anyone have a idea of what be going on?

Your problem sounds familiar with mine, in my case its the keyboards since the buttons gets up and by then I keep moving forward but I have it rarely though.
I don't know if there are other things that can cause it.

can you tell how often this happens? I used to have the same problem some years ago.

it occurs a few times a map. But I get it s not ET related because its start to happen as I type when i aint ingame as well. And sometimes I hear my USB connection sound. So I tried a few poorts but stil the same problem. I think i need to try an other keyboard..
Had this problem a few times already, its usually caused by dirty/sticky keys.
In case you have a mechanical keyboard you can just remove the key and clean the keyboard, then it should work again.

Same thing happens to me very rarely in every game I play. That's because when playing, you will have to press the movement keys down for long periods of time compared to typing outside games which is just tapping the keys. Also when playing you might not notice it yourself, but we tend to press the keys more heavily than normal if we get excited/annoyed by the game itself. Usually if the key gets stuck, it will release if you tap that same key quickly.
