Hello there,

I think it is time to show you my opinion about changes as a HS leader and just modest player. I'm not suprised that changes caused a lot of excitement. It just proves that some players just involved in HS server. I went over to the matter coldly and below I present my conclusions:

Nitmod
+ players can change mod by voting without restart server and without high admin help,
+ voting for next map,
+ you can't heal in hs and special mod,
+ deathmatch option,
+ nades not working in hs and special mod (it is objective, because I love nades :P),
- instagib on normal mod (coverts can't disguise),
- very weird hitboxes,

Jaymod
+ constantly hitboxes (maybe to big for good players but you are sure that when you hit opponent it will count),
+ jaymod is still very popular especially among the new players,
+ playing dead,
- changing mod need admin help (but I think it will be insignificant minus when we will organize and do new schedule) and changes need restart server

For now, that's it, if I remember something important I will write it. After analize possitive and negative sides I voted for... jaymod.

Probably you wondering why such a decision. Nitmod has more positives, a few new option which make more attraction for players, but weird hitboxes couse that all possitives disappear. Players come to us for having fun but with this kind of hitboxes they get frustrated and just left out server. I was in many servers with nitmod and there it looks completely different. I agree that hitboxes on nitmod are smaller and it is harder to hit head but in HS hitboxes are really weird. And there is not only headshoting problem, bigger problem is with body shooting. It was main reason that I voted for jaymod. Look at it more from the business site. Nobody come to server where player hit opponent and can't kill.

I like nitmod but with this kind of hitboxes this change can kill our server. Thank you guys and girls for a lot of work which you done to changing mod and settings. I respect your work, but I think you understand my concern.

P.S. my accuracy:
mp40 - 30-40% jaymod, 25-38% nitmod 12-18% new hs nitmod normal mod,

Best regards,
Hammy.

okay so here are my thoughts:

So far with having nitmod for nearly a week now on HS i got to test it and here are the things i've noticed, like:

- dynamic mod change - its great that we don't have to struggle with restarting maps and change mods with vote
- hitboxes so far good for me
- cool new features that comes with nitmod - like adminchat etc ( still figuring out stuff :P )
- it is attracts visitors - although some ppl mentioned that it will 'scare' visitors away , im seeing new players everyday

Despite the fact that most of the HS members would like Jaymod back , my vote is for Nitmod , and thats why:

With Nitmod we have better possibilities to make the server better and i think after several years the change might affect well on HS.

My vote went out to nitmod because of the almost endless options you have in it, the hitboxes where some peeps seem to have problems with can also be changed.

-TDM
-Mapvote
-No restart while changing mod
-HS ONLY = ONLY HS
-I myself prefer the nitmod gameplay over jaymod

I'll put here also what I putted in the other threat conserning my opinion:

I voted for N!tmod because:

* Voting system (no need or restart)
* More possibilities then Jaymod (possibile to change almost every setting)
* Hitboxes seem better, but agreed weird when you're used to Jaymod (unhit at some points/angles)
* I think more cool stuff can be programmed into N!tmod then Jaymod for future events etc.
* The only thing that bothered me was I lagged more on N!tmod then Jaymod, not really sure why.
* The instagib kinda bothered me but I can live with it. (pretty sure sound can be disabled)

I voted for nitmod because I my overall feelings about gameplay voting system etc. are way better then on jamod. I totally understand people who want jaymod but in my opinion nitmod gives new possibilities for the server.

nitmod for these reasons:

Easy to customize
fun things (headshot with knife & throwing knives, turbo physics etc)
Hitboxes are good (you need to rethink your aiming if you cant hit..)
Dont need to restart server when changing things *Big YES

hey i would love to play but it has to be nitmod because for some reason my et legacy will only connect to like 1 out of every 100 jaymod servers
