I always turned off windows updates because it creates shitloads of problems.. i think its better you reinstall it to Ultimate 64 bit rather than proffesional?

Thanks for your answers!
Butcher, after downloading all the updates as soon as I run the installer there is this error message: Medium does not support Microsoft Windows w61 x64. When I try to install the updates manually, there is a similar message, that my Windows version is not compatible.
I guess I will try it with Ultimate today

I also received this "Medium does not support Microsoft Windows w61 x64" message the first time but thereafter I restarted the scan procedure again and the process could be completed then. So restart the UpdateGenerator.exe file once or twice again and hopefully the procedure will be finished. Don't try anything else, as this is a very-very long procedure, this update scan itself took an hour or so, as far as I remember. It will scan a lot for updates.
If you get the meassege that everything has been fully scanned or the prcess closes, only after that can you start the installation itself by running the file UpdateInstaller.exe in the client folder os WSUS. The installation of updates takes a lot more time, maybe 1,5 hours (with my SSD drive) and in case it shows that some updates could not be installed, then don't worry, just rerun UpdateInstaller.exe and once it will complete. Then the normal Windows Update agent will be fixed, so you will be able to use it as earlier.

I made it three times in a row but it was of no use. Still the same problem.

Maybe use the installation disk / create a system repair disk and try repairing your OS :-)

You could also try resetting Windows Update http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/917...reset.html

Dudes, not any repair or reinstall will solve this matter, I have even tried to install some Windows updates manually, but none of them helped. Use the WSUS Offline Updater that I suggested, I sucked several other ways that have not helped at all.

Try it then 4-5 times, Poseidon, it must help. The generator utility. If it does not help, I will post the other methods as well.

It is working with Windows Ultimate x64 and WSUS offline Update! After that is finished I will tell you if I can install the drivers again. Thank you all Biggrin
