Mates,

My Russian buddy 888 - who is our recognised guest and also a fan of BG Smile - has been suffering for some time, as his etkey got corrupted some way: he does not have etkey on Vietnam/Nam mod but he seems to have etkey/GUI on Bg/Nitmod - I checked it.

Can you give me some clues, what may cause this trouble and how it can be fixed?

Thx

Old Butch Oldtimer

Well on N!tmod it's not required to have an etkey.
N!tmod work with NGUID system.
So every client get a new NGUID this has nothing to do with a etkey
daring to make a difference.

So 888 most probably does not have an etkey but we only face the XPsave problem only on Vietnam then? The solution will be clear if we confirm this.

I don't think he played on jaymod. A question might be if jaymod behaves like Nam or Nitmod regarding GUI.

Jaymod requires an etkey, http://www.etkey.net/ or http://www.etkey.org/

Problem fixed!
He installed etkey successfully and enabled PB as well. Smile
Thx all for your additions.
