Presenting HS Mini Mod, (archived by Cross)

Hello there people ,

Today, Ive finally finished making something very special for our HS Server, i dont know if you guys will like it or not but let me explain what ive did,

It is called HS Mod which is actually Modified, Mixed and Created by Me,
Dont get me wrong cause its not a mod like No quarter or something xD, just an addon or mini mod as what the title says,

This took me 3 days to do it so however, here are the changes

Skin Changes :-
1)Command Post: Wooden Outlay (Both Teams)
2)Engineer construction Flag: Purple Icons (Both Teams)
3)Uniform Skin: TWC Logo on side arms, Purple Badges or i can say Class icons,
4)Helmet Skin: Purple Class Icons,
5)Compass Skin : Purple coloured compass from the outside
6)Rank Skins : U will get every rank with purple colours, and the last Rank u will have is a logo written 2PRO4U

5) Axis Face Skin: -
a)Covert Ops have beard now (Not big beard)
b)Engineers have smokes patterns or few dirts in their face with small mustache
c)Soldier Face looks different
d)Field ops face skin from old to young (a bit similarity towards the axis's medic face)

6)Allies Face Skin:-
a)Medic Face looks different
b)Covert ops also but not much difference,

7)Limbo Menu:
Reskinned with different icons and in HS Style or i can say in Purple'ish style.

8)Sky:
Skies will now give Purple Lightning, if u want to see it, use console and wait for couple of seconds and u will see it.

9)Weapons:
There r few weapons in both the teams that r reskinned in different style, i mean in realistic style, (PS: I didnt added shaders or any type of HD stuff due to the file size)

10)Footsteps

U can now see ur footsteps properly while running or walking, re-rendered,

11)Sounds:

A)All the weapons will have different sounds, especially the airstrike and the explosions,

B)Same with command post, u will hear axis communications in german language in the radio and same for allies but in english language,

C)Footstep sounds,

Ive added different footstep sound on water and on metal,

D)Getting damaged by bullets sound

whenever an enemy shoots u, u will hear ur own different flesh rip sound or sth like that,

E)Bullet sound when shooting on an objects/walls/floor:-
U will hear them when u shoot, whether its stone or metal/glass or snow,

F) Reviving sound is different

Note : I wanted to also change the music for Allies win and axis win but still trying to find a way to learn changing them ,

So far so good, why i tried to make a mod like this? because i think it will make more HS suitable with it, i mean the purple designs and stuff, its like making a T-Shirt and clothes for HS Server.

The bad news is, idk whether one of u can download a 28 MB file size xD like this,
Unfortunately ive alrdy tested it on HS server and ive seen few players connecting and successfully downloaded the mod within 1 minute (same i tried with my brother's account, just downloaded it within a minute, depending on ur connection)

It is no problem for those who have troubles in downloading it, i can share the mod file here and simply paste it in ur Jaymod/Etmain folder.

I really like it. I'll have to get used to the sounds . It's refreshing and I like the colors!

The concept is nice and everything is well made, good that there is something new added besides normally new maps.
Especially the new faces, those are pretty cool.

But I'm not really a fan of the gun sounds and the new helmets, sorry.

Ikr, few people also informed me about the small problems going on within this mod,

1)Getting Distracted By the Gun Sounds or the "ting" sounds where it comes from the walls/floors/glass while shooting at it.

2) Dominator also told me there's a glitch in the knife,

I didn't got ur last point about the helmets, Maybe u meant Allies helmet if I am right..?

Solution:-
1) I would like to know in which weapon/gun sound that everyone of u r getting distracted with, Not sure if it either could be the Thompson or the mp40 because that's what you've alrdy played with them right now.
I would provide a fix for gun sounds by making their sound effects a bit smoother to prevent loudness or the heavy noise, about the ting sounds probably most of u could hear it so many times instantly while getting shots nearby the walls etc, Maybe I can decrease the amount of these ting sounds to prevent distraction (I will look more further into it)

2) I will check out its textures, there should be a mistake somewhere.

Perhaps, I wanted to say that if anyone of have seen any types of bugs/glitches and other problems towards this mod..Just say it here and I will try to find a fix for it ASAP.

Atm I am on my phone, Not at home yet..probably at work so if I was here today in game I could've noticed and fixed them immediately.

I appreciate your hard work, Hani, but personally, when I went to server, it started with nice beginning when the game was loading and then all of a sudden I got so much purple towards my eyes. to me, it's just too purple, I think that purple compass in game would be enough and some small elements but when you see all of things like this, your eyes're gonna hurt you sooner or later. I agree with Puitje about sounds of weapons. I miss old ones. and as Aqualong, I prefer oldschool, just with small changes. but you've done good job anyway, although it's not really my thing.
