Geforce GTX 760

Sup guys

I'd like to ask you about GTX 760. What do you think? Should I buy it (from some guy for 190€). I'd like to use it mostly for gaming. I know that I don't have PCI 3.0 but I'll upgrade that next year. So should I buy it? Do you know if it works good?

I have it, the 4gb version. It works great . Now that it cost less than 200 euros ( new! not used )is even more awesome. In the future you can Also make a sli of them.

My advice if you Wanna buy it it's to get the 4gb version, otherwise you may have problem with games that requires lot of vram or heavy modded game.

It Also uses really low power, one of them just use around 120w.

As for brand i have msi, silent and fresh.

At that price (new! not used) it's really good.

Well you can get a R9 280 for ~200€, and gain a few frames, at the cost of more power usage. (Everything differs by the specific model tbh)

i would not forget that driver support of nvidia cards is a LOT ahead of amd, and i'm telling this since i have both of them.

and btw you should get it for 190 euro NEW, not used. i can find it here for less than 200 euro in italy where things cost loads more.

gigabyte versions use 230w ?! something is not ok with it since mine in full load it just 120 w ( i have msi).

so if it's new , get it, if used, look somewhere else.

if you can't use it for any reason until next year, don't buy anything then. prices of these stuffs drops fast since new models comes every year.

Why dont you buy the GTX 960? newer and better chips. Besides on the 16th (on the E3 Expo) of June there will be a new release of AMD's new Radeon 300 series. And Ill bet the prices of the GTX 960 will go down aswell. ATM the are about €217,-

Well at the GTX 960's pricerange, it competes with the R9 280X, which reks it in pretty much every game, at the cost of higher temps and higher power consumption. And with the 3xx series coming, both 280X and 960 prices could drop.



But his main question seems to be if he should buy a used GTX 760 for 190€, which was already replied - no.

So guys I don't like AMD ones. I mean like my cousin bought one for 220€ (dunno which actually) and it stopped working after 3 months (but he got new one ofc). He says, that he doesn't like it that much and he has quite many problems. On other hand my bro has GTX 560. He has it for 2 years now and he didn't get any problems at all. So that's why I don't like AMD ones :C

EDIT: This graphic is actually almost not used. The seller told me, that a dentis bought it for some programm and later he got it that GTX 760 isn't compatible with the programm. So the seller gave him other graphic, that costs 200€ and dentist gave him this one. Now he is selling it for 190€. Dentist bought it for 400€ and it is still in warranty. Actually it is almost never used.

I must say I have a GTX 770 2go and I don't have any problem with it, I can max out all the settings in all the games I have, even the most demanding ones.
