I would like it, if members from BG would take more active part in recruiting players. I do it on a regular base and when I see a player from my country, i will adress him/her in Dutch. Our members could do the same if they see a player from their country and adress him/her in their own language. Maybe it creates a more cpmfortable feeling if we adress people ( recruting only ! ) in their mothertongue.!! Or if you speak more than one language, take your advance with it.

i am a member since 1 year 2 months.
What decided me to join, was the overall level of people playing on beginners server.
Actually, i almost disappeared last 2 month, for one reason, i just began a new job.

I have ideas about why we have less people than other servers, i have disclosed it almost a year ago, and the answer was "no" there is no problem with that.

Here is my 2 cents from last year: There is a new version of ennemy territory called Legacy.

This version doesn't change the game itself, it enhance it.
This version is backward compatible
BUT this version has banned some practice from clan servers, like prefixing with "~" the clan menu. If someone (dont know if its true now since server reinstall) use the Legacy client and the server send a TWC menu beginning with "~" he wont be able to connect.

Also the reccurent crash of the beginners server is somehow a plague, i wish to help on that because it's my day to day job to fix linux servers but i don't even know if it could appreciated or desired.

I feel, for sure i didn't demonstrate a lot of activity on the forum, but ingame i am moreover helpfull and i like that.

Maybe i will donate to have a better voice on what to do to get things better

It is not a must to donate to be heard. Although you could send your idea's or solutions to either me or Ligustah (He's the tech man behind the scenes)

It has indeed been quite a plague but, Ligustah is looking into it whenever he has some free time at hands. I Agree on the recruiting part, people feel welcomed more often if spoken in their own local language.

Well.. it's a clanwide rule that only light SK is allowed, changing it for 1 server in particular would create some misunderstandings. The best i can advice is to balance the teams, even if it means having more players on 1 of the 2 teams, depending on how skilled the fewer player team is ofcourse. Even valk can't beat 3-4 people on his own while trying to spawnkill hehe.

And as far as the crashing issue goes, Ligustah is on it for now. If he's in need of help i'm sure he'll ring a bell! He's been solving problems for years so i'm sure he's capable of this aswell, just give him a little time. If you'd like to discuss the matters at hand you could pm Ligustah, Tintamar.
