Forum Other games (archived by John)

Hey,

I've been observing for quite some time now, that you guys as a community got pretty close, which I think is a great thing. So I thought "How would we provide a broader platform for this development?"

I considered adding a new sub-forum for other games (1 per game respectively), which would allow all of you to discuss about other games in specific sub-forums. Find a team to play your favorite MOBA with, or discuss the recent patch to the MMO game that you like. Share tips and game-specific content.

Basically, just provide a platform for you guys to share the interests you have outside of ET with the rest of the community whenever you feel like.

As for me, I'd love to see a DotA sub forum, because I enjoy playing with or against people I know, and also like to provide coaching every now and then for people, who are new to the game or don't have the experience that I somehow gathered (some 5k hours of gameplay ).

i'd love to hear what you guys think about this, and eventually which games you would like to see have a dedicated sub-forum.

maybe WoT and CS?

maybe WoT and CS?

One of the reasons, which brought me to ET and our clan was, that I was serching a game, which my old dinosaur PC would handle. And I don't think my PC (and the others) would handle a games like CS or WoT.

If that would be CS 1.6, then I agree. But GO is very heavy.

And here is my proposition. Does it really need to be a downloaded game? We can play website games. And my proposition is game called "The Pride of Taern". Maybe somebody is playing it.

Don't worry - it is a global game and it has got "bulid-a-clan" option.

My writings might have been a little misleading.
I'm not actually suggesting picking up more games as a "clan", but just provide a place to talk about other games like the one you suggested Duka. If there is a sufficiently large group of interested members, we surely can open up a server/group/team/whatever under TWC tags, but this is certainly not meant to invade all your games with our clan name :P
I'll probably add a Dota section sometime soon and post some content on there, to give you guys an idea of what it might look like.

Seems like a good idea, because many people in our clan play different games too, like dota, WoT etc.
It would give people the chance to share knownledge about these games and discuss about it.

Also, it might make people try to play any of these games (like myself) and enjoy it.

So I would love to see these kind of subforums.

Anyone played Commandos II ? Everbest game. Sadly it has only 2(training)+ 10(mission) +10(bonus) maps. Though its not a game worth a subforum in the world of modern games but i felt like i need to post about it :P .
