We had this signature talk over and over again.

It seems its an issue that comes up every now and then, especially if you have these (so-called by themselves) "tricksters" who always manage to make more than the assumed mass of sig.

Making new rules about signatures sounds ofc not like a bad idea, but it needs a lot of thinking and discussing (how many, how big? what is medium size, big size, small size? Are Userbars sigs? Is text sig? blabla) + Im pretty sure somewhat in the not so far future there will be again people who manage to work their way around these rules.

What Lig and I could atm offer you are 2 solutions that came to our mind:

A) everyone has to put his sigs into spoilers. Thats not hard, everyone can do it, and you can choose if you want to see someones sig(s) or not.

B) we give you a how-to about a signature rotation. This way one can not see all your sigs at once, but every time he sees a post of you, he sees a different sig.

Wow thanks, I never knew about the option to disable showing other people's signatures!

I have to agree with Duka. I find it really annoying to see all these over sized (useless) signatures. And of course our dear Hani is especially great at that, just like in spam. But as Mimus said, there will always be people like him, bending the limitations of rules to the maximum and finding other ways to get around them.

I think the option to disable showing signatures is already enough of a compromise, for all those who dislike scrolling down endlessly. The idea of using spoilers is nice too, but I doubt sig lovers will like it.

ps. i disagree because i want to show all the awesome new sigs that have been made for me like the one made from Zone, Chasin and Dron. plus i am like hani who puts poo in there sig because some people find it funny like my quote in hanis sig lmao xD

Your C) option is not that bad imo.
It bothers me alot when people have very large sigs, but I don't feel like disabling them. A max height is in that case a good solution.
