Hello guys
Today me Snorfiets and Dupix found out that between level 10 (Leader) and 40 (junior donator I guess) there's a gap of 30 unused levels, and we decided to fill it without touching any role, just by adding 1 more level (differentiating admin from high admin, the first wont have the !ban and !unban cmds). Why did I do this? Because lots of new people are joining the server and since we don't know who we can trust and who we can't trust, we need more steps each members must follow to become trustworthy and "powerful". However, even muting, kicking and noclipping can mean abusing so we thought of recreating the AAT level (anti abuse team) which would be given to 1 person, with the duty of finding abusers and punish them (corporally, sexually or however he/she wants (thats why I wanted this level tho) ). Do you agree?

I don't really know. This almost has no use... If you don't trust someone don't recruit him in the first place or if you do, don't promote over 5 or 6. That additional level is useless for this purpose because it just generates a feeling that you are being promoted. In my opinion to find out who is trustworthy and who isn't you have to actually pay attention to people, it is not decided by admin level. Admin levels should be awarded based on how trustworthy someone is, not vice versa.

Your logic is valid if you had a solid base of level 4-5 users and you had time to "test" people, but for example if you had to choose somebody very fast and with a bad reputation that is acting well recently, having an AAT who can keep you sure from abusing is a good thing

Oh wait maybe I misunderstood you. You only want to create an AAT level? Cause in that case I support it.

Yes, just one level type extra right now. Maybe in future we can do some more magic with levels and such, certain roles people play etc.

Yeah sounds okay to me, I have yet to see an occasion when AAT would be needed, but better safe than sorry

we appreciate your motivation to do sth about tj's state, but (seems you guys dont know it, happens. I doubt we have it written down somewhere, apart from the "all bigger decisions have to be talked about with every server member (including supremes)" and the "one levelsystem for all servers" part) just changing a levelsystem is...a kind of tricky thing you do here, and Im not sure if it helps as much as it will cause problems.

Ofc tj has a kind of different levelsystem than the other servers, since there arent the same commands etc. Still, we have levels that at least resemble the levels you have on other servers (leader is 10, admin is 7 etc.). Just implementing a new level is hard and might be confusing. Not only because its a level the other servers dont have, but also because it depends on so many questions.

Which level will it be? If you make this (it sounds like a new admin level to me?) level to be placed between the gap you mentioned, you will put this new admin above the leader of a server - weird?
But if you want to place the level near the original level 7 Admin, its also difficult since there is no space, level 6 is Respected Member and 8 is Recruiter. Pushing a gap there, so the new admin is e.g. level 8, would mean to place all other levels a bit more high, and that puts the levelsystem completely apart from the other TWC servers.

Also, naming it AAT? I see quite a lot of people in TWC seemingly loving the AAT, but do you guys really know what AAT is all about? MB look here http://board.twcclan.org/thread-4257.html
For the ones who dont want to read through that thread: AAT was the Anti Abuse Team, meaning the peope in there were mainly meant to watch out for ADMINS of a server who abuse their powers.

What you guys are talking about right now is more like a new admin level, or maybe an SCT (social community team, which was indeed meant to look out for people (any people) on the server who misbehave "corporally, sexually or however he/she wants"

Or am I right understanding it that you want to implement 2 new levels? The admin and the "AAT" who watches over the admins?
If thats so, we have an even bigger tweaking with the levelsystem, in order to get enough space for these 2 levels without making too much of a chaos.^^
Think your idea is nice, but needs some further discussing/thinking.

Leader lvl 30
Co-Leader lvl 20
AAT lvl 15
Recruiter lvl 10
High admin lvl 9
Admin lvl 8

About AAT, yes we know what it is and our first thought was we want to use it to look out for admins abusing their powers.

404 on that link. As Dupix said, we wouldn't place that above our same levels (how would that even be possible? ). Imo it's needed, because we're choosing a recruiter among some people who we dont know too well
