How to bind a soundpack

Hello
Long time ago i was wondering if it possible to bind a voice form any of soundpack. And now i will show you how to do that. All you need need is notepad and soundpack from any server.

So let's start !
Go to \Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\jaymod

Now you will see something like this



Open one of the soundpack with winrar.I'll bind one of TWC sniper sounds so i want to open this "~~~~" file. The biggest one is always soundpack.

then you will see something like this



Ok. . In folder "sound" we got all the sounds on server so if you want one of these just copy them. But what we need is in "scripts" folder.

There should be 2 important files for us.

wm_allies_chat.voice and wm_allies_chat.voice

open one of these by draging file on notepad.

Now this should open



Sniper soundpack is made by Xenaluci and Bialy aka Destroy666 , thanks for the good work!

Now just scroll down to find sound you wish to bind. For me , it will be "GRRRRRRR..." Because i use this a lot



There it is ! All we need now is just to put that in our cfg or simple bind. TWC sniper soundpack is pretty "simple" because to bind Grrrrrr sound you just need to put "angry" in . it's called same like in voice menu. But in some server commands are way different than in vocie menu. For example , there could be 47rha7 instead of simple name of sound you want to meak.

So to create our bind just type in console

bind m vsay angry ^6.^9|^7Grrrrrrrr :<

its the easiest way to bind but ofc you can try to build something bigger and more complicated like i did

set grrr0 "vsay bye ^6.^9|^7Grrrrrrrr:<^6! ;set 1 vstr grrr1 "
set grrr1 "vsay bye ^6.^9|^7You make me angry ^6! ;set 1 vstr grrr0 "
set 2 "vstr grrr0"
bind n "vstr 2"

( like a pr0 )
