General AllStars server (archived by Veli)

Hello.

I have suggestion what will most likely get bad rep since I know people are not interested in etpro here. BUT, you all know we have a server named AllStars, what is basically useless at the moment since nobody plays there etc, and I think something should be done to it.

My suggestion is to change AllStars server to jaymodish etpro server, because we've tested pure etpro server and it didn't work. Since there is only 3 (?) active and decent etpro servers in ET, it would maybe be a huge success for TWC. With 'jaymodish' I mean an etpro server with upgrades (like faster reload), NO xpsave, not so regular maps (of course basic supply, deli, frost, grush, braundorf etc. would be in) and so on. If you've played in (HBC)HELLBASKET server before, you know what I mean.


This is just my opinion about AllStars server, leave your own opinion about my idea below.

Kornie man I am so proud of you , cuz I was thinking the same thing.
Well since it barely gets visitors , so well we can surely try new stuffs on it.
Surely I don't really mind changing it's mod to etpro or NQ ?
Well for now I think we should try Etpro with well "No Skills" (like -1 all stuffs)

Dont really know whether to use the original 6 maps or the basic etpro maps , but just for now maybe use the original 6 maps ?

PS : I really like the idea just aint sure if we will be getting much visitors.
And heck yes , would be visitting it a lot of times if it gets enough guests

the original maps are bit big for etpro, axel especially 3o3.

i'd say supply, adlernest, and sp_delivery_te to begin with.

Sounds good tho, but i prefer getting skills enabled on a server untill campaign is done and starts from map 1. Otherwise some people might not come cause they like to play with less recoil in their smg .
And exactly just like HBC, then we can try what i meantioned in my other thread of enabling PB with PBBans stream to test it out, i surely like it tho might need connection tweakments but then it works like a charm.

Great idea in my opinion. Although I am not sure if the MST had other plans with the Allstars server, if not, we could try this.

it's a good idea, i would play there rather than in ND
eventually i'll find some skill back *hopes*
