Hey guys,
im kinda concerned about the number of applications we get from this lerre guy why invites everybody,
i dont think it is a good way of recruiting cause what you see now speaking of myself
is 1 big mess with who is recruit when does the trial end.
As well having to much members isnt good either cause they join quiet easily (instead of asking themself) what makes them also kinda fast clan hoppers or can be cheating on other servers. Then it will give twc a bad name.
Would like to know your opinions bout it but i think this lerre guy need to quit asap with these huge recruiting amounts
cheers

Do you think a monthly recruit limit might solve this? We can't really make people stop applying...

I wouldnt make another rule pop up about a recruitment limit. I have to say at first i was quite pleased of the idea to actively ask ppl if they would like to join. However, since i see the pms in nd when lerre is talking to those possible members, would add a >restriction< to what hes doing atm:
Asking ppl if they wanna join isnt a bad idea at all, but i would suggest to ask only ppl who 1.got a certain amount of xp already 2. you have seen ingame being nice and mature ppl who follow rules 3. ask once, and dont insist on them joining
But most important of all: dont try to catch them with this "do the apply now and i will be the first one to make a good comment for u"-stuff. The comments in applications are supposed to be posted after you watched those ppl long enough to be certain about your opinion about them, not as a "present" for them in order to make the app come through as fast as possible.
Mimi
Ps: i agree with blood about what we talked yesterday already: nd got already enough members, theres actually no need for this new wave. However, if lerre likes advertising twc towards possible members so much (and i have to again underline the idea of such an actively rcting member is a good one i like) i suggest him to do that on others servers mb? :P that would be much more of a help for us than havi nd flooded with new members nobody can really control

But wouldnt it be a shame if we have one month like 6 applications and the other month no app at all? It would mean we might cut in our own flesh.
I would rather suggest a more strict look on the players who could join. We never had the problem with too many applications before, so it seems people only make an application if they really want to join and are not clan-hoppers etc.
The problem popped up once lerre started actively asking...everyone to join. So i would suggest, as i think i mentioned above(?), that people may only "invite" others to join the clan if they really know them. E.g. i think i remember inviting Longhorn or sth? once, but he refused :P invited him because i see him kinda aaaaall the time on ND. Some time ago though^^

I think there isn't a problem (yet)
As long as the new recruits don't cause any trouble, it's ok
But I agree that we should be very strict and careful with checking these new recruits

better to check the recruits very well, and decline some of them.
Lets transfer lerre to sniper/headshot?:PP

I think active recruiting is a good thong when its done by a recruiter (maybe high admin)
