Hey cuties,

today some people helped me testing the 3 new maps for the Allstars Weapons Cup. It was really cool, and at this point I would like to say THANK YOU BETA-TESTER

We got plenty of new ideas and things we want to fix before the actual event (THANKS Moanraker for always solving the problems that occur )

Because, what you guys should know is that the Allstars Weapons Cup isnt just a normal event. Its bigger, its better, it beautiful!

We do not have a date yet, but dont worry: it will be around weekend time so most of you can come and play

The plan:

We have 3 maps to play.

1. Map: You have to choose a certain team before the event starts. With this team you play TICTACTOE. Axis are Cross and Allied are Circle. You have to shoot at your side of the tictactoe-field at a box in order to mark it with your symbol. You can choose every class except soldier and covert.
Speciality of this map: you can cross the side and mark at your enemies field a symbol. That means you can mark boxes for your enemy he definitely DOESNT want to have marked in order to win the game. Ofc your enemy will try to do the same on your side .

The winning team of map 1 (and thats why its so important to choose one team only) is allowed to play on map 2:

2. Map: A maze. You have to make as many kills as possible. We play the map 3 minutes only, 3 times. Speciality of the map: Every time the map restarts its a WHOLE NEW MAZE. So you never know at which corner there will be a blocked road or even an enemy In the end we summarize the points you made in those 3 games.

The 3 people with most kills may play in the last map.

3. Map: THis map isnt about to shoot your enemy or win as a team. No, one after another the 3 contestants have to complete a shooting course that leads through different rooms with targets to destroy. The fastest person wins the game, and the whole Weapons Cup.

Prizes:

Everybody can have a sig to look at on forum, right? Nothing special if your name appears there.
But what about your name to appear next to our beloved TWC-Logo in the header of our Website?
The 3 people who reach map 3 will be named in banner of our website for 2 weeks.

Also, the one who makes the fastest run through the shooting course gets a special prize: A Key for the new game Dirty Bomb from SplashDamage (yes, the ones who created ET )!!!

Now, the title states that there are jobs, right?

What could that be?

First of all, I would be glad if some people who are not interested/cant actively play the cup would help me. We need to take the time ppl need for the course, watch the tictactoe and see who wins, count and summarize the kills on map 2 etc.
Everybody whos interested in helping to make the Cup happen in the administrative way - just tell me in this thread

Now, another big job is to be offered: CHATTING.
Yes, chatting. You all know the people at football games commenting? And the famous commentators of Dota and LoL, and all these other e-sports?
Well, we will also make a teamspeak/mumble server, and spend the Cup in a channel - and we need a commentator.

You have to be chatty, thats most important. Ofc you also need to know some english, but if its enough for chatting ingame im sure its also enough to be commentator in the Cup. It would also be great if you could stream (e.g. with twitch) the Cup, so people who are not ingame can also watch it.
