$4m4el banned me today, cause - i guess -he dont understand INFIGHT situation.

Let's talk about this.

In my viewpoint INFIGHT means you are hurted by other player(s). (you are IN FIGHT with others)
$4m4el think infight situation means when other players look you / aim you.
Other TWC member think infight situation when other player is running towards you

So?
What is INFIGHT situation?

Anyways selfkill is in server config:
when you infight and selfkill, your enemy get the frag.
if he/she isnt get frag means you werent infight.



So my suggestion:
1. Change the server config. Server settings can be made if you get hurt you are not able to do a selfkill.
2. Set the selfkill off.

this is the same as double jump.

server config allows double jump but players cant jump everywhere --> everyday fights (WJ, ally on roof, that was TJ, not WJ)
one admin says can jump there and he jump there, other kicked me for the same jump.

there won't be any fights if server config set correctly.

You tell us you were an server admin 10 years ago and therefore you'd know this game. Still you don't know that disabling selfkill while being hurt is not possible in Jaymod... (no, we're not changing to another mod)

There you go. We don't disable the function because it is a usefull one. Besides, most players actually follow the rules...

There may be some confusion about some spots being allowed, but in the end, walljumping is still not allowed. Walljumping is not always disallowed by server configuration, but it is still disallowed by admin rules.

What is INFIGHT situation?

That may be your definition of 'in fight', but all admins disagree with you and recognize selfkilling in the 'panzerfaust fire delay' as selfkill 'in fight'.

You're just distorting replies now.
I suggest you re-read that reply then:

Let me correct you. You ARE in a fight when the enemy is shooting you or when you are face to face with him.

Even when the enemy is running on you, you are in a fight with him. So selfkill would not be allowed.

What Veli was implying here, was that any upcoming confrontation should be considered as 'in fight', and those borders include other players running up to you in close quarters aswell.

I had already earlier problems with him (walljumping spawnkilling), I think a three-day ban should to settle this case

Let's make this clear. Despite your own definitions, we are the admins. We make the rules and most players are comfortable with abiding to those rules. If you have a problem with our rules, either ask nicely or don't play in our servers.

I guess the person who doesn't understand it is someone else than TWC admin/member.
In my opinion, you're in fight if someone shoots you, right? According to your logics you're not in fight if someone has bad aim. Seems legit. You don't need to be cheeky about this, many of the admins/members have played this for ages also. And at the last, admins and members of the clan has the last word. If you keep going by this, you'll get in even bigger troubles. Just saying..

And the last thing, I don't believe you with that you've played for "10 years", according to your behavior you're not old enough.

this post is from me about the complaint post of asdervbn.

problem let me explain it to you, i made this rule with a poll about this suicide before the panzer hits you, and we applied it as we see it has a battle.
70% of a panzer shot is always a kill(depending the user of the panzer ofc, in asdervbn's case this applies). And since you made trouble already few times without actually getting punished so far i know.
Then they are allowed to ban you for 3 days, since this is not the first time you rule break, and you know the procedures well then you also know our rules so please try to stick with it next time Smile

I hate it sometimes 2 being killed by a panzer but its part of the game and being killed by it also( btw /kill counts also as death so just give him the kill cause it doesnt help your stats by suiciding in battle Smile )

So act like it, please. I know you can do it, and you know it too. I understand that if you're upset when got banned for such reason... But every server needs it's own rules...

I want you to play fair, I don't care that much about getting the frags. If they change the rule or decide it doesn't apply in this case, I'll deal with it. ET isn't team deathmatch, it's about objective, and from this point of view selfkilling in fight is only beneficial to me, in case I miss.

My behaviour is a separate issue. If you think I've insulted you and selfkilling is your retort, then I suggest you file a complaint against me instead.
