We can do 3 part tournament: frag part, panzerwar part, sniper part.

What about objective?
And I can imagine we could set something up for some kind of trickjump...
Get from point A to point B as quick as possible, for example.

Honestly, I have had this idea too, including other clans aswell, but never had any time to work it out. Having this for TWC only would be great for getting eachother involved.

We should decide a date first so we can see who can play and make up the teams. Does everyone agree that we should play on Allstars? We'll have to do the changes we were talking in the other thread but it seems a good idea to me

Some players should record the game also so we can make a little vid about it to put on youtube

I think some people are into pw and sniper. And if there will be like 2 ND teams (it has a lot of members), pw team, tj team, vietnam team, hs team and sniper team if we won't play sniper match it will be disadvatage for sniper team. In my opinion it will be fun.

About the parts. I think there should be objective part, frag part, tj part (like Moan said with the timeruns), sniper part and pw part.

And if somebody would be able to stream it (or record it and then make a video ), it will be awesome.

I would be up for a obj scrim. Not for the rest. And I tihnk its pretty hard to organise an scrim for sniper an PW etc. because I gues there are just to few players that'll turn up. but that's nnot up to me.
I think it would be great to set up an etpro server for the time being. If that aint a possiblity allstarts would work fine aswell.
Simple wellknown objective maps. long respawn time no panzer & mines when 3vs3.
btw 3vs3 it perfect for this. People who say it aint good for obj plauy never played a scrim be4 i gues.

I think the goals of the tournament are: fun, playing something organised, show people other parts of ET - as I see there are a lot of member (mostly from ND) who want only objective because they don't like pw, sniper or tj. In my opinion the tournament is great way to show them that these parts of ET are fun too (sometimes way more funny then just fragging on ND). And it will be something new also. We had some scrim tournaments between server (mostly Blue vs. ND) or between some teams.

@djuki: It isn't hard to organise sniper, pw or tj event. It's as hard as organise normal scrim.

Yeah, this is good idea. But for frag? Or for obj? We should do it on allstars, yeah, but people must know about it? Why don't we invite to the tournament normal players too? It will be funnier, and people will like our new server.

Well it wouldn't be fair if you set a team of Panzerwar players wielding panzerfaust against No Download members with Thompsons.

Wouldn't it be an idea to have several teams, each consisting of members of different servers competing in a competition in a variety of game styles?

What I meant was having a team with members from different servers, one from each. For example a team with (very overpowered):

That would ensure a fair competition and I think it would be fun to have 1 'professional' per game.

I know some people that do timeruns hardcore. We could do this, but I was thinking about 'special' timeruns. We're having fun on Panzerwar getting up Minas Tirith (without dyna), for example.
