General Tournament Idea (archived by iTim)

[Morey]

Hi,

I believe each clan faction (ND, TJ, Panzer, etc.) should compete in a knockout tournament against each other.

I was thinking of a way to get the clan involved in something and meet others players they may not know in this clan. Also, it'll be great fun!

It's just an idea so if people agree, we can discuss the rules and all.

Thanks,
Morey.

I already proposed that before but we didn't find the time... i think it's a good idea, we could play on Allstars to give it more publicity

Ye but this is a knockout tournament, and it consists of all TWC factions rather than just the fragging ones.

Why do you propose a tournament which you know you are going to lose in all kinds of it? Now shut up and be gone morey.

Aside from, would be good.

Well it wouldn't be fair if you set a team of Panzerwar players wielding panzerfaust against No Download members with Thompsons.

Wouldn't it be an idea to have several teams, each consisting of members of different servers competing in a competition in a variety of game styles?

We can do 3 part tournament: frag part, panzerwar part, sniper part.

I've just suggested something along those lines, if people are keen we can set something nice up

What about objective?
And I can imagine we could set something up for some kind of trickjump...
Get from point A to point B as quick as possible, for example.

Honestly, I have had this idea too, including other clans aswell, but never had any time to work it out. Having this for TWC only would be great for getting eachother involved.

I can help you man if you want I like that idea.
