Solved the button release time lags (archived by Mimus)

Hi lads.

I come across a problem I haven't seen be4. When I'm ingame and play something weird happens.
When I release a button it takes a while to stop the command is bind to.

Example: when I release "W" witch is bind to "+forward" I still move forwards for a limited time.
The time depends on how long I've pressed it.
Other example. When I pressed TAB 10 sec and release it it'll take an other 5 seconds for the screen"+scores" disappears.

Btw happens in more MODs but only in ET not in other games or programs. And I don't think I installed any program or altered any settings in ET be4 this problem accrued .

I run Win 8.1

Any idears?

I used to get this problem when i am lagging or having connection problems,
Have u tried re installing it?

if it were in other games too i would guess your keyboard is dirty and needs a cleaning, but only for et idk

nope not jet. because its a pain getting all the settings (cfg's) back. But I think that's the solution. But I'm wondering what's the problem here.

Never heard of this type of problem,...
Did u even used any type of CFG?
Try playing ET without using any CFG.
I think it will work,

I have always had my own config that I developed over the years. And I haven't chaged it recently. So I din't think it'll work. but I'll give it a try.

Did you recently changed to win 8.1 cause win8+ uses other typ of communication with input devices like mouse and keyboards, so try a keyboard that is a little bit newer see it if it will work.

and resetting settings is using the command /exec default if that doesnt work it must be some malfunction with communication between the keyboard and ET while using win 8.1
One of the main reasons i went back to win7
