Hello dear SAT members,
since the reactivation of SAT with the christmas events (maps, mods) on servers, there did not really happen much in this team.
Do not worry, it were holidays - happens.
Now, that the new year has begun, we will encounter some changes towards SAT.
1. We will from now on have 10 members. That means we have atm 5 empty spots. Lets not wait for people to apply for a team they barely know - go and look for people who YOU think are ready for a job in SAT team. Let us be honest: SAT is not meant to be a team for people who want to get some fame by telling others they are in the "offical advertising team" or sth. It is meant for those guys (and girls) who want to spend their free time not only with gaming, admin and members tasks, fireteams and such, but also with helping the clan by advertising the servers and organizing events.
2. The activity table. Revauld made a very good post about it with a new system (http://board.twcclan.org/thread-3857.html). This worked in PSA really good and we will implement it for SAT. The week is seperated in different days, all spend on a different server (http://board.twcclan.org/thread-537.html). However, the spot for Sniper and (if the supremes agree) for ND will be replaced by (atm) Headshot and TJ. The actual servers for each day might be changed if it happens that one server seems to need more attention than another, eg. by the time sniper goes active again together with madmack and his clan. So keep yourself up-to-date with the Event Schedule and do not forget posting your weekly activity.
3. Events. Not only SAT members get ideas for events. If you see other people on forum suggesting an event, and you find it a good idea/people seem to be all in for that idea: Show yourself as SAT member and offer this teams help in making the event come true. So, read forum and look for event ideas that come up.
4. Not a big change, but a reminder: If you, after thinking about it, are not sure if you still got the time or right motivation for SAT, please do not stay just because you "might come back some day", since that would mean blocking this spot for others. However, leaving SAT for some reasons does not at all mean you can not come back. Just make an application
5. Leading spots etc. SAT had a leader, went inactive and kinda came back. In the recent past chickenchaser tried his best to fill the spot, but as we all know: RL etc. sucks a looot of time. Thats why we will have some kind of shared leadership in SAT. I will be leader, so whenever you have problems, ideas, or just want to share some news, you can come to me. Unfortunately, as MST i can not be all in leader. Thats why Chickenchaser and Revauld will be just as "leaderly" as I am for all the times i can not be around. I am sure they will be a great help to get SAT going again. Chicken already showed he can organize stuff like the christmas event, and Revauld is experienced enough with PSA and brings in, apart from all the heartblood, a lot of ideas.
